Updated details on Jeff Hardy arrest

We reported last Thursday, October 3 that WWE Superstar Jeff Hardy was arrested in Moore County, North Carolina for driving while impaired.

Earlier on Tuesday, TMZ Sports acquired a copy of Hardy’s arrest report from October 3, including the mug shot, which you can view above.

The Carthage Police Report notes that authorities received a tip around 8:40 pm ET regarding a reckless driver.

Police located Hardy’s vehicle parked in front of a liquor store, and when Hardy came out of the store he was carrying a case of beer.

Hardy then got into his car and began to drive.  After police followed Hardy, they eventually pulled him over after they observed him weaving badly.

During the stop, the officer noticed Hardy had “what seemed to be dried blood on his nose” and asked Hardy what happened.

According to the report, Hardy told police that he got into a fight with his wife.  The police report gives no further details regarding the possible domestic violence incident, but instead the officer further proceeds to ask Hardy about his alcohol intake.

It was noted that Hardy admitted to taking 2 shots of vodka earlier in the night and admitted to being impaired.

The report also states that Hardy failed the field sobriety test and was uncooperative when asked for a breathalyzer or blood sample.

It took a search warrant from a judge to extract a blood sample from Hardy, which was conducted by Emergency Medical Services staff.

Hardy was booked for driving while impaired and driving on a revoked license.

TMZ Sports said they were told by police that they are not investigating the domestic violence matter, but would look into if Hardy filed a complaint.
