AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT Ratings: Both shows suffer against the World Series

AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT ratings for October 30, 2019 are now in.

AEW Dynamite, the fifth episode to go head-to-head against WWE NXT, drew an average of 759,000 viewers on Wednesday night according to a report by Showbuzzdaily.com.

This is down from last week’s show that drew an average of 963,000 viewers on TNT. Dynamite came in at No. 6 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, down from No. 4 where they placed last week.

This week’s episode of NXT drew an average of 580,000 viewers on Wednesday night.

This is down from last week’s show that averaged 698,000 viewers. NXT came in at No. 32 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, down from No. 21 where they placed last week.

It should be noted that both shows went against the decisive Game Seven of the MLB World Series, which drew 23.013 million viewers and a 6.1 rating among adults 18-49.

In overall viewership, AEW Dynamite defeated WWE NXT in the head-to-head battle of the so-called “Wednesday Night War” by 179,000 viewers.

Demographic Ratings for AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT

NXT, headlined by Riddle and Lee vs. Undisputed ERA, averaged a 0.18 rating among adults 18-49. This is down from last week’s 0.21 rating.

AEW Dynamite, headlined by the finals for the AEW Tag Title Tournament, averaged a 0.33 rating among adults 18-49. This is down from last week’s 0.45 rating.
