WWE Backstage ratings for premiere episode on FS1, Cain Velasquez replaced on lineup

The ratings are in for the premiere episode of WWE Backstage on FS1 from Tuesday, November 5.

According to a report by Jed I. Goodman, the official premiere of WWE Backstage on FS1 drew 49,000 viewers. The show did not crack the Top 150 shows on Tuesday night on Showbuzzdaily.com’s list.

The first preview show, which aired after an MLB American League Championship game, drew 597,000 viewers. The second preview, which aired after the SmackDown on FS1 two weeks ago, drew 426,000. This represents an 89% drop.

Cain Velasquez replaced on WWE SuperShow card in Mexico City

After having been previously advertised to team with Rey Mysterio at a WWE SuperShow Live Event in Mexico City on November 30, Cain Velasquez has been pulled from his scheduled match.

There is no word on why Velasquez was taken out of the match. Mysterio will instead team with Humberto Carrillo to take on Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. Velasquez is still scheduled to appear at the event, but will not be wrestling.
