There are multiple injuries to report following Wednesday night’s episode of WWE NXT. These injuries are largely considered to be part of a storyline, but there are legitimate injuries put in with the fabricated injuries.
After having a ladder dropkicked directly into her face, resulting in massive blood loss, and being knocked off a ladder onto a ladder bridge, Mia Yim is being listed as “day-to-day.” She sustained a nasal fracture and likely has broken ribs. She went for x-rays and will be evaluated by a plastic surgeon. There is no word on if this will impact her appearance at NXT TakeOver: WarGames III on November 23.
During a match against Xia Li last night, Aliyah suffered a nasal fracture and possible orbital floor fracture following a roundhouse kick to the face. She is not medically cleared to compete.
Finally, Johnny Gargano, who was announced on Tuesday as not being medically cleared, is said to have a cervical strain that is keeping him out of action.
