Charlotte Flair and Andrade reportedly have applied to trademark non WWE in-ring names

Charlotte Flair and Andrade reporteldy have applied for new trademarks

According to a new report from PWInsider, WWE stars Charlotte Flair and Andrade have applied for new trademarks.

Charlotte Flair has applied to trademark “Ashley Flair” and “The Queen of Wrestling” for the following:

IC 025. US 022 039. G & S: Graphic T-shirts; Hats; Hooded sweat shirts; Pants; T-shirts; Short-sleeved or long-sleeved t-shirts.

IC 041. US 100 101 107. G & S: Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network.

Andrade has applied to trademark “La Sombra” and “El Idolo” for the following:

IC 025. US 022 039. G & S: Graphic T-shirts; Hats; Hooded sweat shirts; Pants; T-shirts; Short-sleeved or long-sleeved t-shirts.

IC 041. US 100 101 107. G & S: Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network.

“La Sombra” was Andrade’s in-ring name in CMLL and New Japan Pro Wrestling.  

It should be noted that part of Charlotte’s trademark application is for her real-life first name, as her real last name is Fliehr. 

Flair and Andrade went public with their relationship during WrestleMania 35 weekend.
