WWE NXT is live tonight from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.
Scheduled for tonight’s show, the final of 2019, are two championship matches. Adam Cole will be defending the NXT Championship against Finn Balor. This match will lead off the show and be presented commercial-free. Balor won the opportunity by defeating Tommaso Ciampa and Keith Lee in a triple threat match last week on NXT.
Also scheduled for tonight is Shayna Baszler defending the NXT Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley. Baszler attacked Ripley two weeks ago on NXT and granted her this title opportunity. Ripley pinned Baszler inside of WarGames at NXT TakeOver this past November.
The WWE.com preview is also advertising that we will see what is next for new NXT Cruiserweight Champion Angel Garza, who won the title from Lio Rush last week, and teases that we will see another competitor from NXT UK coming over ahead of Worlds Collide in January.
