The Big Show on his return from injury: “Tonight was amazing… after five hip surgeries”

WWE is featuring an interview (above) with The Big Show, who made his return last night on Monday Night Raw.

Big Show last appeared in the ring in November 2018. Big Show stated it was great to be back in the ring after undergoing five hip surgeries in the past year and a half. His faith in his career, himself, and the wrestling business was tested, but he’s grateful he came through it.

“Tonight was amazing after going through five hip surgeries in a year and a half. To be able to take a phone call from a friend, a peer in the business, to come out in front of this incredible crowd tonight, get back in the ring after almost a year and a half and be competitive, I’m just extremely humbled and grateful. They say that what doesn’t break you makes you stronger. I think my faith in my career and my faith in myself and faith in this business was tested the past two years like it’s never been tested before. I’m just extremely grateful for the fans and we’ll see what happens next week.”

Big Show also commented on teaming with Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens again to face Seth Rollins and AOP in a fistfight.

“Let me get this right: somebody wanted a fistfight with me in the match? Somebody doesn’t like AOP or care for Seth Rollins. Oh my gosh, that’s funny!”
