Paul “Triple H” Levesque has apologized to Paige over an inappropriate joke made earlier this week.
During a conference call following NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II, Triple H was asked about the possibility of Edge and Paige returning to the ring after serious neck injuries. Triple H talked about how the health of the performers is key to everything before mentioning that Edge has family while Paige “probably has some kids she didn’t know about.”
The joke did not go over well, leading to outrage online. Paige also responded by saying, “Even my boss jokes about me… no wonder you guys still do it too.”
Triple H tweeted that he has reached out to Paige to apologize. He mentioned that the joke was terrible and is sorry if he offended her or anyone else.
