A new stipulation has been added for the WWE Universal Championship match as well as two new matches for the Royal Rumble have been added to the card.
It was announced on SmackDown that “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt would defend his WWE Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan in a Strap Match. One end of the strap will be attached to Wyatt’s arm with the other end attached to Bryan’s arm.
It was also announced that Bayley would defend her WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship against Lacey Evans. The two went one-on-one on SmackDown where Evans was victorious.
In addition, Roman Reigns versus King Corbin will now be a Falls Count Anywhere match. Reigns announced the stipulation following his Tables Match win against Robert Roode.
Following their run in on SmackDown where Shorty G attacked Sheamus, a match involving the two was also added to the Rumble.
