Former WWE Tag Team Champion reveals he has returned to the company as an agent

Sylvian Griener hired by WWE as an agent

In a recent interview with TVASports.ca, former WWE Superstar Sylvain Grenier, best known as one half of the four-time WWE World Tag Team Champions La Resistance with Rene Dupree recently revealed that WWE has hired back him as agent.

Grenier, 42, indicated that he met with Kevin Dunn last April to ask him for pictures of the time he won the tag team titles at the Bell Centre, which he needed for the intro to his new fitness TV show.

He said that he and Dunn started talking about things and Dunn told him that the company was looking for agents. Grenier said that as part of the conversation, he told Dunn that he just had a child, and with his new TV show, he didn’t want to end up on the road as much as he did before.

However, according to Grenier, Dunn told him that things had changed, and the company invited him to the premiere of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX and after a few exchanges, both sides had an agreement.

Grenier also stated that for the moment he is training, but when he is assigned to either Raw or SmackDown, he will be at TV once a week, every pay-per view event, and once a month he with be touring on house shows.

Grenier did note that he began working again with WWE at last week’s Monday Night Raw in Lexington, Kentucky.

He wrestled his final match in WWE against Kane in a losing effort on the August 7, 2007 episode of WWE SmackDown, and was released from his contract just six days later on August 13, 2007.
