AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT Ratings: Viewership up for both shows, AEW still on top

AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT ratings for February 5, 2020 are now in.

AEW Dynamite, going head-to-head against WWE NXT, drew an average of 928,000 viewers on Wednesday night according to a report by Showbuzzdaily.com.

This is up from last week’s show that drew an average of 828,000 viewers on TNT. Dynamite came in at No. 11 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, down from No. 3 where they placed last week.

This week’s episode of NXT drew an average of 770,000 viewers on Wednesday night, their best number of the year so far.

This is up from last week’s show that averaged 712,000 viewers. NXT came in at No. 34 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, up from No. 37 where they placed last week.

In overall viewership, AEW Dynamite defeated WWE NXT in the sixth head-to-head battle of 2020 in the “Wednesday Night War” by 158,000 viewers.

Demographic Ratings for AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT

WWE NXT, headlined by the return of the Velveteen Dream, averaged a 0.22 rating among adults 18-49. This is the same rating they had last week.

AEW Dynamite, headlined by Cody receiving 10 lashes, averaged a 0.36 rating among adults 18-49. This is up from last week’s 0.34 rating.
