Taynara Conti posts video on YouTube talking about her recent release from WWE

Taynara Conti posted a video on YouTube (above) talking about her recent release from WWE.

She titled the video “FIRED BY WWE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PANDEMIC.”

Conti started off the video by indicating she had to take care of “personal stuff” and her “Visa”.

She said that she will always be “grateful” for her time with WWE.  She talked about how two and a half years ago she didn’t even speak any English or even know what WWE was.

Conti also said she loved her time with WWE but in recent months, as a competitive person with a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu background, she didn’t feel like she had the opportunities to push herself and let WWE know.

She did note that she asked for her release three months ago but the company told her they could not grant it.  She then asked for it again, WWE called her and said, “Hey Tay…Bye!”

Conti said she was upset and nervous because the firing was a shock, but now that she has figured out everything, including her visa issue, she is excited for the future.

She praised the NXT Coaches saying she learned a lot from them, but wanted to challenge herself and learn more about professional wrestling beyond WWE.

Conti said she would like to wrestle in other places and even go to Japan, but as of right now she can’t speak on anything as nothing is concrete. Conti said she will remain in the United States, continuing to pursue professional wrestling.

Conti was one of several NXT performers released on April 17 due to cutbacks related to COVID-19.
