During the taping of his match against Randy Orton at WWE Backlash, Edge suffered a torn tricep muscle.
As first reported by Fightful and confirmed through numerous other sources, the injury happened during the taping of the match on June 7. It is not known at what point in the match it happened.
It is not currently known how severe the tear is, whether it will require surgery, or how long it will keep Edge out of action. As Edge and Randy Orton were doing media appearances all week, WWE did not want it being out that the match was already taped, so the injury was never mentioned.
