Kevin Owens not in attendance at Wednesday’s WWE TV tapings, opts to stay home

Kevin Owens stays home

Kevin Owens opted to stay at home rather than attend the WWE television tapings on Wednesday due to the recent positive COVID-19 test from a developmental wrestler used in the crowd.

As first reported by Fightful and confirmed by multiple sources, WWE has no issues with Owens staying home and did not pressure him to come to the WWE Performance Center. It is not known when Owens will return to the program.

The next scheduled taping for Monday Night Raw is on June 29 when they will tape that night’s Raw and the July 6 Raw.

Due to the positive test, WWE was forced to postpone their taping on Tuesday to Wednesday. Delays on the test results caused them to cancel the taping of SmackDown for June 26 as well.
