Eva Marie is set to return to WWE.
First reported by Cultaholic and confirmed by multiple sources, the former “Total Divas” cast member is set to return soon.
PWInsider is reporting that she is in Orlando the tapings this week and is undergoing a physical. The deal was finalized on September 20. It is not known if she will be returning as an in-ring performer or a personality.
Eva Marie was signed to WWE on a developmental deal in 2013. She was picked to be part of the first season of “Total Divas” on the E! Network. In 2016 she became a permanent member of the SmackDown roster with a gimmick where an announcer would give her a lengthy introduction only to see her not be able to compete.
In August 2016 she was suspended by the company for testing positive for Adderall and not having the prescription in by the deadline. She never appeared on television again after that was parted ways with the company in 2017.
