The SmackDown Ratings are in for October 16, 2020.

This week’s Season Premiere episode, which also was the first post-draft episode, drew an average of 1.987 million viewers in the overnight ratings according to today’s Fast National Report by showbuzzdaily.com.

If the number holds up, this week’s viewership would be down roughly 9 percent from last week’s show which drew 2.087 million viewers.

The final ratings for WWE Friday Night SmackDown are scheduled to be released this coming Monday.  We will provide an update if there is a significant change to Friday’s preliminary ratings.

Hourly Breakdowns and Demographics for WWE SmackDown

Hour 1: 1.978 (down from 2.156 million viewers last week)
Hour 2: 1.995 (down from 2.017 million viewers last week)

This week’s SmackDown, which was billed as the Season Premiere, and featured a Universal Championship Match, averaged a 0.50 rating among adults 18-49.

This number is down from the 0.60 rating SmackDown had last week.
