Johnny Gargano is your new WWE NXT North American Champion.
During Sunday night’s NXT “TakeOver: WarGames 2020” event on the WWE Network saw Gargano capture the WWE NXT North American Championship for a third time by winning the Triple Threat Title Match. Gargano defeated Damian Priest and now former champion Leon Ruff with help from Austin Theory.
Sunday night’s match featured interference from several masked men who were wearing the a Scream mask. Priest took out six masked men until one of them knocked him out with a steel pipe. It was revealed that Austin Theory was under the mask.
