According to a report by Fightful Select, Cathy Kelley reportedly taled with AEW before her recent return to WWE.
Kelley returned to WWE earlier this month as backstage interviewer, which was part of the commentary team changes under Paul Levesque.
It is being said by Fightful that Kelley spoke with AEW CEO and President Tony Khan about possibly joining AEW. It was further noted that Kelley signing with AEW looked promising at one point.
Kelley previously worked for WWE from February 2016 to February 2020. She did remain on good terms with WWE after she left WWE. Kelley is part of the backstage interviewing team for Raw.
