According to a report by Deadline, it would appear that the sitcom Young Rock, based on the life of Dwayne “The Rock Johnson, is “on the bubble” with its future uncertain at NBC.
The sitcom is one of three that the network has yet to make a decision on, though the report does suggest that Johnson’s involvement and teh solid delayed-viewing lifts does give some hope for the future of the series.
Finishing its third season in late February 2023, the sitcom is organized around a frame story set in the near future starring Johnson as himself, and includes many a look at events in his life through flashbacks, many of which involve his childhood as well as his early career in professional wrestling.
