12/27 MSG WWE Tuesday Night Raw House Show Results.
1.) The Miz came out to open the show and did his usual rant about how hes the most must see WWE Champion ever and how he will beat Punk tonight for the belt. R-Truth came out and attacked him but Miz left then Truth started talking on the mic and everyone started chanting WHAT! WHAT! John Laurnitus came out and told Truth to leave the ring, so he did and talked about tonights card and wished everyone a Happy New Year.
2.) Dolph Ziggler won a 12 Man Battle Royal to become the #1 contender for the U.S Title against Zack Ryder by last eliminating Kofi Kingston. Dolph played possum midway through the match and was outside on the floor after Santino knocked him down with the Cobra. Santino eliminated 3 men, Kofi eliminated Mason Ryan then out of no where Dolph came back in to eliminate Kofi.
3.) Alex Riley pinned Leo Kruger (FCW Wrestler) with the TKO.
4.) Divas Champion Beth Phoenix pinned Eve to retain the Divas Title with the Amazon Slam w/ Brie Bella as the Special Guest Ref. The other Bella was a timekeeper. After the match The Bellas attacked Eve but Kelly Kelly made the save.
5.) Mick Foley came out as the Special Guest Host of the Night and cut a promo. Foley talked about how hes excited to be back in the WWE and here in NYC. He then talked about when he hitchhiked to MSG to see Snuka do a splash off the top of the cage to Don Muraco back in 83 and that was the moment that inspired him to be a Pro Wrestler. Jack Swagger then came out and talked trash to Foley and the crowd. Jack challenged Foley but Mick stated his testicular fortitude was left home and there’s a legend that has his, which brought out Jerry “The King” Lawler.
6.) Jerry Lawler pinned Jack Swagger with the punch off the middle rope. Foley gave Swagger MR. Socko after the match.
7.) Santino Marella pinned Michael McGillicutty with the Cobra.
8.) U.S Champion Zack Ryder pinned Dolph Ziggler (w/Vickie) to retain the U.S Title with the Rough Ryder. Dolph pinned Ryder in the match but it was restarted when Charles Robinson saw Ryder’s foot on the rope. Ryder was way over with the NY crowd.
9.) WWE Tag Team Champions Air Boom beat Primo & Epico(w/Rosa) when Bourne pinned Epico with the Shooting Star Press.
10.) John Cena beat Kane by a DQ when Kane used the chair. Kane hit the Chokeslam then went for a Tombstone but Cena powered out and hit the AA on Kane. Lots of ‘Lets go Cena” and “Cena sucks” chants.
11.) WWE Champion CM Punk pinned The Miz in a Steel Cage Match to retain the WWE Title after hitting the GTS. Punk was way over as well and I tagged Punks hand and touched the belt when he was walking around ringside after the match!
This was a entertaining show and I sat ringside for it.
