Charlotte Flair attends CMLL event to support Andrade El Idolo

WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair was in attendance at Arena Mexico City, Mexico on Friday to support her husband, AEW star Andrade El Idolo.

Charlotte was in the front row for her husband’s match. Charlotte was seen arriving at the venue on crutches due to her torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus which she suffered during her match with Asuka December 8 episode of the Tribute to the Troops SmackDown special.

Charlotte is expected to be out of action for nine months due to her knee injury. She will soon be undergoing surgery. A few months ago, however, only made public recently, she signed a very lucrative contract extension with WWE, making her one of the highest paid women in WWE history.

Andrade, Espanto Jr. and Brillante Jr. defeated Volador Jr., Magnus and Magia Blanca at the CMLL event.

Back on December 15, Andrade returned to CMLL for the first time since 2015. His former in-ring name with the promotion was La Sombra.

Andrade is squaring off against Eddie Kingston in a Continental Classic Blue League match on tonight’s episode of AEW Collision. The winner will advance to the Blue League Finals.
