Following an earlier report regarding the future of Pete Dunne, the former WWE United Kingdom Champion made his return under that name on the 1/19 edition of SmackDown.
Dunne teamed with Tyler Bate to take on Pretty Deadly, with Dunn showing a more aggressive side throughout the match before hitting the Bitter End for the victory.
This serves as a rematch from the 1/5 edition of SmackDown, with the man then known as Butch teaming with his former British Strong Style stablemate for Bate’s debut on the main roster.
