On his podcast Hall of Fame, Booker T gave an update following the medical procedure he underwent that caused him to miss NXT Vengeance Day.
The WWE Hall of Famer thanked everone for their well-wishes, stating:
I know you missed me. But I’m good, guys. First of all, I want to thank everybody for all of the support. All the well-wishes, telling me to get well and get back on track and get back. I’m going to get back as soon as I can. I’m going to take a couple weeks off, but rest assured, I will be back live and in living color, doing it like it’s supposed to be done. But I’m going to take these days off to relax.
Booker went on to say he was on his way back to “get in the gym and train” as part of his recovery process, to get back to what he had been doing previously.
