Greenwichtime.com is reporting that former WWE CEO Linda McMahon has won the Republican Senate endorsement in Connecticut. McMahon won 60 percent of the delegates, while Christopher Shays won 32 percent of the vote. McMahon spoke about the campaign following her win adding, “You know, what I found out was people didn’t really get to know me the last campaign.” She also added that this would only be round one when facing off with Shays to earn the right to take on Democrat Chris Murphy in November.
