WWE’s Zoey Stark took to social media to thank the fans for love and support, following her injury during a Women’s Money in the Bank Triple Threat Qualifying Match during this past Monday’s Raw.
Stark suffered the injury after she attempted a springboard missile dropkick in the match against Kairi Sane and Rhea Ripley. Stark’s right knee buckled as she made the awkward landing. The match was halted as she was rolling in pain. After the referee checked on her, the camera panned away and WWE cut to a commercial break. Medical personnel also had checked on Stark, with her having to be carried to the the back. The match continued as a one-on-one match, with Ripley eventually hitting Sane with the riptide for the win.
At the time of this writing, there is still no word on the extent of Stark’s injury. Although it has been speculated she has a torn ACL.
