Rub the dust out your eyes, get on your favorite slippers, gotta have some Pops, and plant your seat in front of The Vortex on CW, because it’s time for another edition of WWE SatMor SLAM!

Before the show kicks off, that awesome WWE Christams video plays! Everyone is there, including one Jack Swagger. If you haven’t seen it, go check it out online!

Scott Stamford welcomes us to a “Best Of” edition of Saturday Morning Slam! He mentions that Rey Mysterio will be in action in our main event! But right now, we kick things off with The Miz facing off against Justin Gabirel. If it seems like cut-and-paste, well…

The Miz vs. Justin Gabriel

No quirky stuff to kick off this match. They go into a lock up, and Miz hits a quick hip toss. Miz taunts the crowd, they lock up, Miz hits an arm drag, a begins to taunt the crowd again. Another lock up, Miz with a bodyslam, and more taunting the crowd. Miz is feeling very arrogant, and even does a Regal roll as the two circle the ring again. As they go to lock up, Miz gets Gabriel into a headlock. However, Gabriel is able to push him off the ropes, attempts to trip Miz, leapfrogs Miz, and then hits Miz with a hip toss, arm drag, and bodyslam of his own. He goes fo the pin, but Gabriel only gets one. Gabriel gets Miz into an arm wrench, which Miz is able to reverse into his own. Gabriel does some flips to reverse it and tosses Miz away, then gets him into a very unique pin, but Miz kicks out at two. Gabriel goes to toss Miz into the corner, but Miz reverses it with more force and Gabriel hits the corner hard. Miz picks up Gabriel and whips him hard into the opposite corner. Miz taunt the crowd again

Back to in ring action, and Miz picks up Gabrel to hit a big suplex in the middle of the ring. He floats over for a pin, but only gets two. He then picks up Gabriel to hit a variant side slam, and pins him again, but still only gets a two count. Miz taunts the crowd again, and goes to boot the sitting prone Justin in the face, but Gabriel moves out of the way, and goes for a quick roll up, but only a two. Gabriel gets up and slumps in the corner, which Miz goes to splash him, but Gabriel moves out of the way. Gabriel goes for a clothesline, but Miz tosses him to the apron, where Gabriel lands on his feet. Miz goes after him, but Gabriel slips under him and hits a huge flying shoulder tackle. This sets up Gabriel to go for the lionsault, but Miz moves and, as Gabriel gets up, hits him with the Skull Crushing Finale to pick up the win!

Scott welcomes us back to this special “Best Of” SatMor SLAM! Before we go to the main event, we revisit the Saturday Morning Spotlight with Rey Mysterio, yet we don’t get the demonstration of the 619 this time. But now, “The Genesis” will get to revisit his match with WWE’s biggest small star!

Rey Mysterio vs. Michael McGillicutty

Michael is not impressed with the masked man, calling him short and taunting his size. They lock up, ad McGillicutty gets Rey into the corner, but pats his head, and gets on his knees and taunts Rey again. They lock horns again, and Rey pushes Michael off the ropes, but McGillicutty is able to hit Rey with a shoulder tackle. As Rey gets back to his feet, McGillicutty out of nowhere hits another huge shoulder tackle. As Rey sits up, Michael starts to run the ropes. Rey is able to make him leapfrog over him three times before Rey moves out of the way, causing Michael to run the ropes by himself. McGillicutty is furious that Rey tricked him, and pushes him, which is answered by a kick to the leg by Rey. Michael hits Rey with a big knee, and tosses him outside of the ring face first. Rey is able to jump up from this and begins to do jumping jacks while McGillicutty has his back turned. Michael turns around to see Rey standing on the mat outside, and goes for a baseball slide, but Rey is able to jump back into the ring and does more jumping jacks. As McGillicutty gets on the apron, Rey hits a baseball slide of his own to Michael’s leg, which cases him to faceplant into the ring edge. Rey then steps out to the apron and hits McGillicutty with a seated senton to the outside!

Before we go back to action, Dolph Ziggler grants us with a “Don’t Try This” spot.

We come back with Rey, the WWE Universe, and Santino chanting 619. Rey has McGillicutty in the scorner, and hits him with a couple shoulders into the gut before whipping him into the opposite corner. Rey goes for a splash, but Michael is able to move out of the way. Michael then hits Rey with a few shoulders in the corner, and then, as Re hits the canvas, gets him into a belly to back bear hug. Rey is able to make it to his feet, and stomps on Michael’s feet to get out of the move. Rey goes off the ropes to hit something, but instead walks into a big sidewalk slam. McGillicutty goes for a pin, but only gets two. He decides to yell at the crowd as he picks Rey up for another sidewalk slam. Covers for the pin, but only gets two, so Michael locks in a regular bear hug. Rey tries to fight out of it, but Michael rams his back into the corner, and sets him up on the top rope. He pats Rey’s head again, but Rey kicks McGillicutty away and then hits him with a huge senton in the middle of the ring. As McGillicutty gets back up, ey hits the ropes and executes a beautiful head scissors. McGillicutty gets up, and Rey goes for an irish whip into the corner, but Michael is able to reverse it. He goes for a splash, but Rey is quick to move out of the way. Rey begins to climb the turnbuckle, but McGillicutty gets under Rey, and looks to set up for an electric chair drop. However, Rey slides off his back and rolls up McGillicutty for a two count. In turn, McGillicutty goes for a roll up, but only gets a two count as well. McGillicutty picks up Rey and knees him. He looks as if he is going to hits something, but runs into a baseball slide from Rey, which set ups for a 619. However, McGillicutty has it scouted and mule kicks Rey as he is about to hit the move. This is answered by a hard kick to the leg of McGillicutty, and it seems Rey has got Michael sitting in the ropes. Rey uses this as a way to connect the 619, kicking McGillicutty in the rear. Rey goes ahead and Drops The Dime for the win!

WINNER: Rey Mysterio

I want to apologize for last week. I had no internet for most of the week, and no cable until Monday.

This was not a fun show. Sure, the matches were fine, but, if we are going to have a best of episode, there were more fun moments. Khali vs Primo, Kofi & Truth vs Primo & Epico, and even Cena vs Slater. These matches would have been better for the opening match. But, with the fact they will have one more of these shows next week makes me hope the two of these three matches makes it to next week’s episode. Oh, and the pie eating contest! Best segment ever on Slam!!!

Now, if you don’t mind, I have my own Crambus to worry about. Have a happy whatever you celebrate, and please, contact me if you happen to get a Rainbow Dash Vinyl Figure from Hot Topic. That would be a great gift to get your favorite brony!!! Until next week everypony!

Remember, you can always add me on Facebook @ (AMARealStar is about to be closed down), and can come hang with me every Saturday night at Top Of Texas Wrestling. Check out to find out more about The Kings of Saturday Nights and Birthplace of Immortals!
