WWE suspended the Legends contract of Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka on Wednesday and began removing him from WWE.com including his official profile from the Hall of Fame section.
Snuka was charged with third degree murder and involuntary manslaughter this week in the 1983 death of his then-girlfriend Nancy Argentino.
WWE issued the following statement to PWInsider.com on Wednesday night.
“Jimmy Snuka’s non-wrestling ‘legends’ contract has been suspended and we are currently removing his images from our media platforms pending the outcome of this case.”
