* The New Day opened the show to celebrate New Year’s Eve.
* The Dudley Boyz & Kalisto def. The New Day.
* Tyler Breeze def. Goldust. After the match, Summer Rae said they have a huge New Year’s announcement. Breeze revealed they would be going their separate ways starting in the new year. They decided to have one final selife together.
* Braun Strowman & Luke Harper def. The Usos.
* John Cena will return to Smackdown next week for the USA Network debut.
* Alicia Fox & Brie Bella def. Naomi & Tamina.
* Dolph Ziggler def. Bo Dallas.
* WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns & WWE Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose def. Sheamus & Kevin Owens via DQ. Owens pulled Reigns out of the ring and crotched him on the ring post. Owens and Sheamus beat down Reigns and Ambrose. Reigns prevented Owens from powerbombing Ambrose through the announce table again. Reigns with Superman punches to both Sheamus and Owens.
