Fox Sports executives attend Smackdown Live
Richard Deitsch of Sports Illustrated tweeted that Fox Sports executives attended last night’s WWE Smackdown Live taping in Los Angeles at the Staples Center.
Deitsch noted that Eric Shanks, Jacob Ullman and Fox personality Colin Cowherd were all sitting front row for the taping last night.
As reported back in January by Variety, Fox Sports was among the many potential suitors for WWE TV rights when the company’s current deal with NBC Universal expires next year.
