“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

The commentators, including Samoa Joe replacing Jerry “The King” Lawler, run down the show for tonight.

MVP is in the ring for the VIP Lounge. MVP says this is the only club still open in America. MVP talks about the unique version of the Money in the Bank Ladder Matches tonight. It will take place at WWE Headquarters. Competitors will start on the ground floor and fight to the roof, which is where the briefcase will be suspended above a ring. MVP will talk with the Raw competitors in the match.

Rey Mysterio is the first to make his entrance. Aleister Black is out next. MVP says Black doesn’t seem like the kind of guy to go to VIP Lounges, so he asks him not to break anything. Finally Apollo Crews is brought out. MVP says Crews is his pick to win it all. MVP asks them what it means to become Mr. Money in the Bank. Mysterio goes to speak, but MVP says he knows Mysterio well and will answer for him. Mysterio wants to add to his legacy and historic career. As for Black, it gives him an opportunity to catapult his star into a higher stratosphere. As for Crews, it pains MVP to say he beat him, but does Crews have what it takes to win Money in the Bank?

Crews goes to talk, but Andrade’s music cuts him off. It’s United States Champion Andrade, Angel Garza, Austin Theory, and Zelina Vega. Vega says no one cares about what Crews has to say or even the other two in the ring. The WWE Universe can’t get enough of Andrade, Garza, and Theory. Those three men are the future of Monday Night Raw. The three in the ring were once the future of WWE, but they can’t measure up to her guys.

They knock over the barricade to the VIP Lounge and get on the apron. Mysterio says he’s picking up a vibe that they want a fight. Mysterio, Black, and Crews clear the ring of Andrade, Garza, and Theory.

Rollins started this and dropped McIntyre to get his attention and the WWE Championship where it needs to be. This isn’t about him. This isn’t about McIntyre. It’s bigger than them all. McIntyre will be a great champion someday. McIntyre is a fighter and an honorable man, but he’s not a leader. Rollins is a leader. Everywhere he’s gone in his career, he’s led and people have followed. Now more than ever, the WWE Universe needs someone they can turn to and guide them. Rollins can be the light in the darkness. Rollins suffered for that title. McIntyre doesn’t have to. Rollins doesn’t want McIntyre to suffer like he did. That championship is Rollins’ burden to carry, not McIntyre’s. McIntyre says Rollins has a unique talent to get his foot stuck in his mouth and put his head in his ass. Rollins jumped him a few weeks ago, but he didn’t finish the job. McIntyre tells him to go for the throat at Money in the Bank because he’s going for Rollins’. Rollins stands up and says at Money in the Bank, the big picture will become very clear.
