“Then. Now. Forever. Together.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

A video highlights the WWE Fastlane event from this past Saturday.

The Raw video plays, and we go live into the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Michael Cole and Wade Barrett welcome us to the show. Becky Lynch will defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Tegan Nox. We’ll also see a WWE Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender’s Triple Threat Match with Ricochet, Chad Gable, and “Big” Bronson Reed battling to see who will face Gunther for the title next.

World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins makes his way down to the ring in a wild outfit. Rollins stands in the ring and listens to the crowd sing his song before taking a bow. Rollins welcomes Omaha to “Monday Night Rollins.” The crowd is hot for him. Rollins says he is feeling some type of way tonight. Adrenaline is a powerful thing because this past Saturday at Fastlane in a Last Man Standing Match, Shinsuke Nakamura took him to his limit. There were times in that match that he didn’t know if he’d get back up, but he did. There were times he didn’t think he’d be able to keep Nakamura down, but he did.

After the match and the entire arena was singing his song, he felt like he was on top of the world. Then he went to the back, and the adrenaline wore off, which reminded him that his back was still very broken. Rollins wants to level with the crowd. Being their World Heavyweight Champion has been one of the great honors of his career… Rollins pauses and looks down at the mat. The crowd chants, “Thank you, Rollins.” Rollins says he wants them to know that he’s just getting started. The crowd cheers, and Rollins cackles. Rollins says he’ll still be a fighting champion. He’ll take on anyone at any time and anywhere. Rollins was just hoping that maybe there’s one night where he doesn’t have to fight for his life. The crowd boos, and Rollins laughs. Rollins says they can sing a little.

Drew McIntyre’s music hits, and the Scottish Warrior makes his way to the ring. Rollins says, “You’re not here to party, are you?” McIntyre shakes his head in the negative. Rollins says McIntyre wants a World Heavyweight Championship match, and McIntyre nods. Rollins says he just wanted one night. He’s a fighting champion, so he’ll go to the back for a moment and get ready. McIntyre tells him to relax. The party is still going on. People will jump Rollins in the parking lot, in the backstage area, at his hotel… anywhere. McIntyre wants him as close to 100% as possible. McIntyre wants to face Seth “Freakin” Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at Crown Jewel. Rollins says he’s not used to his challengers coming to his face and challenging him. Rollins needs help. Rollins asks Omaha if they want to see Drew McIntyre versus Seth “Freakin” Rollins for the World Heavyweight Title at Crown Jewel. The crowd cheers in the affirmative. Rollins says they’ve got themselves a match.

McIntyre goes to leave, but Rollins says the party is still going on. McIntyre used to be in a band, so maybe he can sing a little something. McIntyre says he has to take care of some things in the back, but if anyone sees him partying in Omaha, they can buy him a pint or a shot. McIntyre walks off, and Rollins parties.

All of a sudden, Damian Priest attacks Rollins from behind and hits him with the South of Heaven. McIntyre is just watching from the ramp and not helping Rollins. NXT North American Champion “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio starts running down the entrance ramp with the Money in the Bank briefcase and a referee, but McIntyre stops him. Mysterio asks what he is doing. McIntyre takes the Money in the Bank briefcase and gives Mysterio a Glasgow Kiss. Priest looks furious in the ring. McIntyre throws the briefcase toward the stage and walks off. Priest is not happy. Rollins attacks Priest and clotheslines him out of the ring before shouting at him.
