A Six-Pack Challenge to determine Bayley’s next SmackDown Women’s Champion challenger will take place.

Tonight’s main event will see Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan take on King Corbin and Shinsuke Nakamura.

Kayla Braxton is backstage with Daniel Bryan. Bryan is fired up for his first match on Friday Night SmackDown.

SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley is walking backstage with her new look. Coming up next, she’ll be on Miz TV.

-Commercial Break-

Miz TV with special guest SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley

The Miz welcomes everyone to the show and introduces Bayley. SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley comes out with her new music and look alongside Sasha Banks, who has not been seen since WWE Hell in a Cell. Miz says he wasn’t aware Banks would be here. Banks says she’s here to support her best friend. Bayley says she’s a two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion. Banks also says Bayley is the first-ever women’s Grand Slam Champion.

Video Package: Bayley wins the SmackDown Women’s Championship, but destroys the Bayley Buddies and changes her attitude

Miz simply asks Bayley, “Why?” Bayley thinks about it, and the crowd boos. Bayley says she doesn’t owe Miz or anyone else an explanation. Miz asks about the kids that cheered for and idolized Bayley. Miz asks if she’s Brock Lesnar since she’s a champion that won’t talk. Why the change? Is it insecurity or the fact that she’ll always be second fiddle to Sasha Banks? Banks says Miz was drafted in the fifth round. Miz says he doesn’t need to change his look and slash Bayley Buddies to be relevant.

Bayley says that’s not why she slashed the “stupid” Bayley Buddies. They defined her entire career. The people saw her as colorful and someone to put a smile on their faces. Bayley gave and gave every week, and all they did was take. They didn’t see who she was trying to be: a role model trying to change the world. The night she won the SmackDown Women’s Championship, she said she would elevate the division… and she did. When she lost at Hell in a Cell, she was heartbroken and in pain. Was anyone there to hug her? No. She put herself second her entire career to be a role model for their children. When she needed them most, where were they? They destroyed her. Bayley rose up like a role model and won the title back. Bayley thought this division lacked opportunity, but the fact is they are lazy. The division lacks desire and passion. She used to try to be what they wanted her to be, but the truth is she has outgrown them. Bayley says she’ll give them some inspiration: life sucks and then you die.

Nikki Cross’ music hits, and she comes out to the stage. Cross says she’s heard enough. She thinks she speaks for everyone here in Indianapolis when she says the time for talking is over and the time for action is now. Cross tells Bayley to make herself comfortable. After she wins, she’ll make sure she gives Bayley a great big, huge hug. Dana Brooke comes out and says nothing fuels her passion like being overlooked and underutilized. Lacey Evans cuts her off and comes out to the ring.

https://twitter.com/tde_wrestling/status/1185366587848757249?s=20

Carmella hits Evans and Deville with superkicks until Rose takes her out. Cross takes Rose down with a swinging neckbreaker for the win.

If Strowman goes into his match at Crown Jewel with the same old shtick, Tyson Fury will knock him out cold. Gulak doesn’t want to see that. He is a WWE Superstar. Gulak did something special for Strowman. Gulak made 345 slides in his PowerPoint presentation. If Strowman follows this, he’ll beat Fury.

Strowman grabs Gulak and throws him. Strowman throws him a second time before connecting with a big boot. Gulak kicks and punches back at him, but Strowman simply swats him down. Strowman wipes Gulak (and himself) with a shoulder block at ringside. Strowman gets him in the ring and avalanches him in the corner before clubbing him down. Strowman lifts him up and shouts that he hopes Tyson Fury is watching. Strowman hits a Running Powerslam for the win.
