Are you ready? Then stop questioning your heart and join me, because it’s time for the ECW on Sci-Fi!

We are going to have a huge six man tag event tonight in the main event, but first we kick things off with our Champion, Christian, making his way down to the ring. Christian jumps on the mic and says it is fitting that ECW is live here in Hollywood tonight. Christian says that these peeps will understand his point here tonight more than anyone else. Christian talks about people who are on reality shows and from there on out think that they are a hot celebrity, but in reality they are just dorks. He says that this is exactly true of Jack Swagger!

Swagger’s music hits and he appears on the entrance ramp, mic in hand. Swagger says the reason that he keeps interfering in Christian’s matches is because Christian cheated twice in matches against him. Swagger says that Tiffany granted him a match at Extreme Rules for the ECW Title!

Tiffany’s music hits and she makes her way down to the ring. She says that Jack did not tell the entire story. Due to Swagger’s interference on Superstars, it will be a Triple Threat Match at Extreme Rules: Swagger v. Christian v. Tommy Dreamer!

Tommy’s music hits and he makes his way down into the ring. While Tiffany is yelling at Swagger, Tommy takes the opportunity to start some dancing. Hell I actually think that was a bit of a strip tease from the Legend. Tommy throws Swagger out of the ring, and then turns around and throws Christian out as well! To appreciate Dreamer’s dance you need to understand that he pulled out everything from a Flair strut to a Hogan Hulk up to a Big Daddy V booty shake while exposing some extra skin. Only on ECW.

Kozlov v. Russ Taylor and July Munos

Russ tries to start things off, but immediately tags in his partner after getting hit with a kick. July gets thrown out of the ring and then Kozlov hits him with a very nice back suplex which throws him into the corner. Russ tags in and gets hit with the Iron Curtain.

Winner via Iron Curtain: Kozlov

In the back we see Christian and Tommy Dreamer in a bit of an argument. Christian wants to know why Dreamer threw him out of the ring. Dreamer says it is because Christian disrespected him by ignoring the fact that he was even in the Triple Threat. Christian responds that he is the ECW Champion, and Dreamer says not for long! The two begin scuffling in the locker room, and it takes Finlay to break them up.

We come back and Striker & Mathews are reminding us not to try anything we see at home. Striker say’s don?t be an idiot, don?t try it at home.

Mark Henry w/ Tony Atlas v. Evan Bourne

This is going to be a match that comes down to speed versus power. Bourne is doing everything he can to evade the big man. Bourne is sitting on the top turnbuckle and leaps over top of Henry to avoid a splash. Evan looks as though he might be going for a clothesline of sorts but he just gets trashed. From here on out this is going to be a difficult match to watch. Henry proceeds to kick and stand on top of Evan. Bourne has a brief moment where he starts getting in some kicks, but gets met in the face with a boot from Henry.

Bourne is just getting demolished and being held in a serious of torturous moves. Lots of back stretches and abdominal stretches are being applied. Evan is whipped into the corner and dodges a Splash! Evan goes to the top to maybe hit a Shooting Star Splash, but Henry rolls out of the ring. Evan gets off the ropes and goes for a moonsault, which Mark catches. Henry is about to slam him into the turnbuckle, but Evan slips down and Henry hits the steel post head first. Bourne goes back to the turnbuckle and leaps at Henry to take him down with a double knee. Evan realizes the referee is still counting and leaps over Henry to roll into the ring. The referee hits the 10 count and Bourne takes the victory!

Winner via Countout: Evan Bourne

Jack Swagger, Tyson Kidd & DH Smith w/ Natalya v. Christian & Tommy Dreamer

Before the match starts Natalya grabs the mic and puts over the members of what is now labeled ?The Hart Dynasty?. Tyson is Bret Hart’s prot?g?, David Hart Smith is the son of the British Bull Dog Davey Boy Smith and Natalya is the daughter of Jim ?The Anvil? Neidhart.

We come back and this match is about to get started. David and Christian are the first two competitors to start things off. DH backs Christian into the corner and then locks on an armbar. Christian is able to counter this into an armbar of his own and tags in Dreamer. Tommy only stays in the ring for about 10 seconds before tagging Christian back in. Christian hits a double axe handle from the top rope. Christian bounces off the rope but gets hit with a strong shoulder block. Christian backs into the corner and tries to sneak in a sunset flip, but DH breaks the pin and tags in Swagger.

Jack makes his way into the ring and immediately locks on a tight waist lock that he uses to send Christian to the mat several times. Swagger hits a slam and goes for a cover, but Christian kicks out. Christian is backed into the corner but slaps Swagger in the face which gives him the advantage. Christian tags in Tommy Dreamer. Christian whips Jack into the ropes and then drops him with a spinning toe hold. Tommy kicks Swagger in the face while he is down. Tommy turns and tags Christian back in and they hit a double team suplex on Swagger. Christian tries for the cover, but no luck. Christian tags Dreamer back into the ring.

Dreamer takes Jack by the head and slams him into Christian’s boot. It looks like Christian tags back into the ring, though they look a little confused. Jack uses the moment to leap at both men, but they pull down on the top rope and he goes flying out of the ring. Both members of the Hart Dynasty try and run into the ring, but Christian and Dreamer throw them both out for their troubles. Christian even follows his up with a crossbody to the outside. Jack gets back into the ring, but only to be met with a flying clothesline from Christian as we go to commercial.

We come back from commercial and Jack Swagger has Christian locked up out of reach of his partner. Christian is somehow able to make his way to the corner and tag in Dreamer. Tommy comes into the ring in a fit of fury and hits a HUGE sit down power bomb on Swagger. Tommy goes for the cover, but Swagger barely kicks out. Tommy sets Jack up in the tree of woe and then goes extreme with a dropkick to the face. Jack dodges a blow and slams Dreamer down hard to the mat. Swagger uses the moment to tag David back into the match.

Hart comes in and he is going to use the power game to his advantage. A strong whip into the corner gives Tyson a chance to hit an illegal leg drop on Dreamer’s head. David hits a nice neckbreaker and then locks up a side headlock to hold Dreamer in place till he tags in Tyson. Dreamer is at the mercy of a fast and furious Tyson Kidd. Tyson remains a dominant submission specialist as Dreamer is really struggling for air during a headlock. Dreamer uses a jawbreaker to escape, but before he can tag in Christian, Tyson tags in DH. Smith hits a beautiful suspended Vertical Suplex on Dreamer. David locks on a front headlock to immobilize the extreme legend. Dreamer is able to get a strong punch on Smith, but DH just tags in Swagger.

Jack uses his strength to keep Tommy from making the tag. Jack once again locks in a waist lock which is a signature move of his amateur background. Just when it looks like Dreamer might make the tag, Swagger lets go of him and pushes Christian off the ring apron. Swagger then goes back to the corner and tags in Tyson Kidd. This time around Dreamer has a bit more luck with the Calgary Superstar and hits a back suplex and then tags in Christian!

Christian has the hot tag and takes Tyson over to the corner. Christian hits a pendulum kick and then clears house by knocking the entire heel team off of the apron. Christian goes for the top rope and hits a huge missile dropkick. Christian goes for the pin, but David comes into the ring for the save. Dreamer runs in to throw DH out, but goes toppling over the top rope as well. Tyson tags in Jack Swagger who hits the Gut Wrench Powerbomb on Christian.

Winners via Gut Wrench Powerbomb: Swagger & The Hart Dynasty

After the match Dreamer runs into the ring to beat up on Swagger. The Hart Dynasty makes the save and then hit the Hart Attack on Dreamer. They pose as we go off the air.

ECW Thoughts

Very interesting show tonight. All in all no real complaints and I was really happy to see that they are giving legs to the whole Dreamer contract/Title Match storyline. It was just a couple weeks back that I was on the verge of whining that they had let that slip away, but alas! They are going places with it. I?m sure there are some people who aren?t too keen on the fact that this match has become a triple threat, but it really doesn?t bother me. If there is anyone who knows had to work a solid multi-man extreme rules match it is Christian. So let us see where this road takes us over the next couple of weeks.

Personally I?m a huge fan of the name that they have given Tyson Kidd, DH Smith and Natalya. A lot of people thought they might go with the Hart Trilogy, Teddy Hart and Jack Evans use the name Hart Foundation 2.0 so that name is taken, and there were a couple other names being thrown around. They decided to go with The Hart Dynasty, and I love it.

Hmm, as you all know I am coming around on Kozlov and becoming a fan. That being said I did not enjoy the match he had tonight. This is a personal thing as I?ve never really cared for one wrestler dominating two others. My problem is that as an Indy wrestling fan, I know that some of them are fantastic and hate watching them get squashed. I don?t care if just one of them gets squashed, but both of them getting destroyed just doesn?t do it for me.

Before I leave you guys I want to point out how happy the Evan Bourne v. Mark Henry match made me tonight. Sorry but if you really want me to believe that a guy of Evan Bourne’s size could legitimately pin a behemoth like Henry then you simply aren?t going to convince me. The way that they pulled the end of that match was great in that Bourne just slipped into the ring to use his speed for the win. If they play the cards right, the two could have a solid match given the right stipulation at Extreme Rules.
