“WWE: Then. Now. Forever.”

The normal SmackDown intro plays, before bringing us into the arena as commentary welcomes us to another exciting edition of “Thursday Night SmackDown” before hyping the big matches of the evening: a traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match as Prime Time Players and Lucha Dragons set to square off against the Wyatt Family, and Dean Ambrose taking on Kevin Owens. Suddenly, Albert Del Rio and Zeb Colter come out to kick things off for tonight! Zeb speaks up, saying he’s not in a good mood tonight so he wants everyone to listen up closely. He knows what we’re all thinking; we’re all thinking how Zeb Colter and Alberto Del Rrrrio share the same space at the same time, as a unified front? He proceeds to tell us about MexAmerica; it’s more than just a joining together of two great countries, two great cultures…it’s the start of a state of mind, and in that state of mind it says you must cast aside all your differences because the one thing not allowed in MexAmerica is hate. Haters are not allowed in MexAmerica, and I can tell there’s plenty here tonight. Alberto speaks up, now: if we are to become one great nation under the banner of MexAmerica, we don’t need borders in our lives. Zeb says when we eradicate the hate, prepare for the reconciliation; and one more thing, each and every one of you knows at least one person (or persons) that you hate, and the “black hearts” that deny it are liars. You’re not only lying to ME, you’re lying to YOURSELF. Del Rio finishes the thought with “Viva MexAmerrrica!” before making his way to the ring for tonight’s opening contest. Neville comes out next, and the match is underway!

Neville back into the corner now, as ADR goes for a chop…but Neville counters with a right hand that drives ADR away! ADR in the corner now, as Neville hits a hard kick and starts taking him to another corner. ADR blocks, kicking Neville before landing a snapmare and a hard kick to the back of the head! ADR with the cover, but only a 2 count this time. Back into the corner goes Neville, as ADR goes into a punching spree on him. He whips Neville, but gets a kick to the face for his troubles. Winners: The Wyatt Family

We get a replay of the eliminations as The Wyatt Family poses in the ring. We hear Bray yell “FOLLOW THE BUZZARDS” before commentary hypes up Dean Ambrose vs Kevin Owens later tonight. Backstage, Renee Young is with Dean Ambrose and asks him how he prepared for his first ever one on one match with the Intercontinental Champion. Dean woke up early this morning (like 11), opened his chakras to the universe with his morning meditation, and had a chat with the spirit of John Denver, who played his new song for him and told him about the match tonight. He wandered to Pike Peaks Mountain, stood at the top, and breathed in that fresh Colorado air. He’s had a look into the future, and the future looks bright. Kevin Owens just laughs at that, asking Dean what he’s talking about. Kevin gets it, Dean is the Lunatic Fringe, but he’s about to bring him back to reality. First of all, he’s annoying Renee; also, he’s going one on one with the Intercontinental Champion. Dean reminds Kevin that he pinned him on Monday night, but Kevin insists there’s a difference between that ten man circus and an actual one on one match. As Kevin walks away, Dean tells Renee that “John Denver warned me about that guy” as we go to commercial.

-Commercial-

Back from commercial, King Barrett makes his way to the ring followed by Ryback. We get an inset promo from Ryback, who claims to be the king of the jungle. Tonight, he gets a meal fit for a king…it’s feeding time!

King Barrett vs. Ryback

Both men lock up, and Barrett shoves Ryback out of the ring before whipping him into the steel post. He does it again before bringing him back into the ring for a cover and the nearfall. Ryback fights back, but is met with a Winds of Change for a cover and the nearfall. He goes right back to work with a sleeper hold, but Ryback powers out and drops the King with a Shell Shock’d for the win!

Winner via pinfall: Ryback

Ryback celebrates in the ring, as we go back to what happened last week as Natalya faced Paige when Team B.A.D. got involved. Backstage, Renee is standing by with Team B.A.D. Sasha says that Natalya is always seeking attention, and we find out from Renee that Natalya challenged “the leader of Team B.A.D.” which raises the question of who that is. Sasha says Natty better be careful what she wishes for; Naomi knows what Natty is trying to do, and it may work with PCB or Team Bella, but we know who the leader of Team B.A.D. and she’s going to finish what she started last week. Sasha agrees, in a way that leaves Naomi and Tamina looking concerned as we go to commercial.

-Commercial-

Back from commercial, Team B.A.D. comes out to the ring where Natalya is waiting. Naomi’s music is playing, so it seems she’s the one answering the challenge as she and Sasha enter the ring, arguing over who’s going in. Tamina eventually offers to take the challenge, getting into the ring to get the match started.

Natalya vs. Tamina

Natalya gets the early going on Tamina, but she is overpowered by the strong woman from the Pacific Islands. Tamina goes to work on Natalya, hitting a slam and a knee on the head. She walks right into a Samoan Drop by Tamina, who gets to the top for a splash but is rolled up by Natalya for the win!

Winner via pinfall: Natalya

She quickly gets out of the ring before Team B.A.D. can get to her, before commentary hypes up Dean Ambrose vs Kevin Owens. Up next, we’re gonna look back at Monday Night RAW as Roman gets ready to face Seth Rollins for the WWE title!

-Commercial-

Back from commercial, we see the media buzz for Breaking Ground before going back to Monday night as Roman Reigns declared he was ready to take on Seth Rollins as #1 Contender to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship! This leads to a traditional 5 on 5 elimination tag match, which was ultimately won by Roman Reigns when Seth Rollins takes off running. We get a hype package for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship as Seth Rollins defends the title against Roman Reigns at Survivor Series. He hits a chop in two corners, but Ambrose avoids the third and hits a cross body before laying into Owens with right hands and sends Owens outside with a clothesline. Ambrose throws Owens into the barricade before sending him back in the ring. Ambrose goes up top, but Owens turns things around and throws Ambrose into the barricade not once but twice. He gets on the apron, yelling “THAT’S WHY I’M THE CHAMP” as the ref starts the count. Ambrose is back in the ring, and met with a boot by Owens who follows with a clothesline and a running senton for a nearfall. Owens locks Ambrose in a sleeper hold, but Ambrose gets back to his feet…only to get caught with a knee to the midsection as Owens gets another nearfall. Owens gets to the top, telling Jerry to get a good look…but Ambrose catches him up top, eventually hitting a superplex! We get a replay as Owens is struggling to get up. Ambrose misses a running bulldog but gets a DDT for a nearfall. He goes up top and hits a drop to get another nearfall, before Owens blocks a crossbody and slams him down for a nearfall of his own! Another replay as Owens is now visibly frustrated, setting Ambrose up top…but Ambrose gets a missile dropkick on the Intercontinental Champion! Ambrose blocks a Pop Up Powerbomb, only to take a superkick to the face…but Ambrose hits the whirlybird lariat! Ambrose kicks him in the gut, and Owens is apparently in pain as the ref pulls Ambrose away to check. Owens is holding himself, claiming Ambrose low blowed him. The ref checks with Ambrose, who is denying it, and the ref has no choice but to call for the bell!

Winner via disqualification: Kevin Owens

We see a replay of what happened, and from one angle we see clearly that the low blow didn’t happen. The ref argues with Owens about this, but Dean takes matters into his own hands with a dive to the outside that brings Owens down! Owen high-tails it out through the crowd, leaving Dean to stare him down from the ring as the show comes to a close.
