*NOTE*
My electricity went out (not a cloud in sight, Alabama Power for you) at around 9:30 (central time) so I missed the last 30 minutes or so of the show so I just had to recap it. Sorry guys!

The show starts off with a recap of the MEM/Jarrett/Sting drama and then the Impact Intro hits.

Mick Foley’s music hits and the TNA Shareholder makes his way out to the ring with a bandage on his nose. Foley talks about how a guy can get 25 stitches over his eye and look cool but then gets 2 little stitches in his nose and looks like an idiot while pointing at the bandage. Foley says that sometimes in life you have to make difficult decisions and he feels that TNA is not big enough to have 2 different ?deciders.? He says that after last week he would like to propose that tonight be the night that one of the two steps down from their ?decision making capacity.? Jarrett’s music immediately hits and he limps out to the ring with a bandage on his forehead as well. Jarrett says that he has to ask Mick if he ever considers anything he ever says and Foley says not too often. Jarrett says that they are both competitors and he can understand that once Foley got back into wrestling he wanted to get back as much glory as he could and says they are cut from the same mold. Jarrett says it’s in their blood but in the process of Mick trying to prove to the world that he still had it he became the TNA World Champion, but the question is should the story have stopped their and it should have but it didn?t. He says that in Foley’s quest to get a rematch he has put TNA in serious danger. Jarrett says Foley doesn?t have anything to prove to anyone and regardless of what happens at Victory Road Mick will always be a legend in the business. Jarrett says that he wants Mick to just start thinking before he acts and think about why he came to TNA and think about the young wrestlers in TNA that need for Jarrett and Foley to co-exist. Jarrett says that he and Foley together could take TNA to even bigger heights and says that it was their goal from day one to do that. Jarrett says that if MEM leaves Victory Road with all the belts he doesn?t think that’s a mountain they can climb. Foley says he can understand what Jarrett is saying and he says that he has done some stupid things. Foley says he’s hit Jarrett a bunch of times with Jarrett only hit him once so he can forgive Jarrett for the guitar shot last week. Foley says that Mick does have something to prove, though, and prove it to himself. He says he has to prove that him winning the belt wasn?t a fluke and he needs to do it against Kurt Angle. He says he misses the belt in his life and wants it back but he?ll do it for the right reasons and do it for all the young guys in TNA. Foley suggests a Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Jarrett Non-Title match as a tune up for Angle and Jarrett agrees but he tweaks it and makes it a 3-Way Dance with Foley as well! Foley decides that since they both hate Kurt Angle they will allow Angle to choose a Special Referee, but Jarrett says that the referee can?t be a MEM member or Matt Morgan! Jarrett and Foley then shake hands as Tenay says that it looks like Jarrett and Foley are finally on the same page.

In the back Lauren is with the British Invasion and she says that Doug Williams is putting the X-Division Title briefcase up for grabs tonight. Williams says he is giving someone an opportunity which is what the Brits do. Brutus then calls Williams his hero and the ?ambassador of Britain? and he says as individuals they are great but as a unit they are the deadliest team in the business. Magnus says that they don?t care for American wrestling fans but that’s not why they?re there, they?re in TNA for the money. He cracks a joke about 3D being fat and then says that they are going to take their rightful place on top of the Tag Division.

TNA X-Division Championship Feast or Fired Open Challenge
Ladder Match
Doug Williams w/Brutus Magnus & Rob Terry vs. ?Notorious 1-8-7? Homicide

Williams grabs the microphone and talks trash to everyone in the back again and says that he wants a real wrestler this time, not a redneck wannabe wrestler (Cody Deaner). Homicide’s music hits and The Notorious one is back! Homicide wears a cool as hell bulletproof vest out to the ring with ?Notorious 1-8-7? on one side and the Puerto Rican flag on the other. Homicide rushes the ring and throws rights at Williams and then he attempts to whip Williams into the ropes, but Williams reverses it and then eats a Corkscrew Back Elbow from Homicide! Homicide whips Williams into the ropes and hits a clothesline and then hits a Monkey Flip sending Williams in the corner. Homicide slides out of the ring and brings a ladder into the ring. Homicide slams the ladder into Williams? gut as Tenay reveals that the colors on his bandana are of the flag of the Dominican Republic in honor of his father who just pass? away. R.I.P. to Homicide’s pops. Homicide sets up the ladder in the center of the ring and starts to climb but Williams hits a European Uppercut off the top knocking Homicide off the ladder. Williams then sets up the ladder in the corner and whips Homicide into it and then the ladder falls down ontop of Homicide. Williams sets the ladder back up and then starts to climb it but Homicide pushes the ladder over sending Williams over the top crashing on top of the rest of the Brits! Homicide sets the ladder back up and climbs up. Williams attempts to get back in the ring to stop him but Team 3D run out and hold Williams back allowing Homicide to pull the case down!

Winner & NEW X-Division #1 Contender: Homicide via pulling the briefcase down

After the match 3D continues to beat down on the Brits until Kiyoshi & Bashir run down to make the save! In the ring they destroy 3D 5-on-2. Terry hits a big Spinebuster on Ray and Williams/Brutus hit their Spinebuster/Top Rope European Uppercut combo and then all 5 men celebrate in the middle of the ring.

—COMMERCIAL BREAK—

Tenay & West hype up tonight’s card including Velvet Sky going one-on-one with Tara, Beer Money taking on the Machine Guns, Kevin Nash teaming with Matt Morgan to face Daniels & AJ, and the Three Way Dance Main Event.

Up next for the very first time Suicide speaks in a sitdown interview with Mike Tenay from earlier today. Tenay reveals that Suicide actually wrote the lyrics to his theme music and reads some of them to Suicide to try and get him to explain them: ?your pain just won?t go away/your voices are driving you insane/your body fights but can?t/it’s paralyzed, black inside/hollow eyed?. Suicide, with a VERY deep voice (that sounds more like Batman than Kazarian), says that he was in the darkness and he felt the pain and his torment is not his alone, but it’s shared. He says he was left with two choices: life or death. Tenay recites more lyrics: ?Suicide comes alive, takes the pain from all that just can?t see the light/dark savior, he can save you, he?ll take your nail and be the one they crucify/Suicide comes alive.? Suicide says he was ?dead? but he chose to see the light and he chooses to come alive. He says he is the ?dark savior?, Suicide doesn?t represent the end, it represents the beginning. What in the hell was that?

—COMMERCIAL BREAK—

They show a video package highlighting Sting’s history with the Mafia. Sting’s music hits and The Icon himself makes his way out to a huge pop carrying Kurt Angle’s TNA Championship. Sting holds up the belt and says ?I got your belt, if you want it Kurt come and get it? aimed at Kurt but then says in the meantime he wants to call out the Samoan One. Samoa Joe’s music hits and he strolls out to the ring with that new remixed theme. Sting says that Joe is every reason why wrestling and TNA is as bad as it is right now, because of guys like Joe the Main Event Mafia was started for in the first place. Sting talks about Joe having all the talent in the world but not being willing to work for it. He says Joe took a payoff at his expense and he?ll regret it. He tells Joe that he doesn?t need 4 people behind him to fight ?the fight? and he?ll fight it until everything is right. Sting says things are very wrong now and screams at Joe saying he pissed him off now which causes Joe to finally look Sting in the eyes. Joe gets in Sting’s face the whole time Sting is daring Joe to do something and then asks Joe who’s in his ear. Joe says that fortunately for Sting he’s been instructed to keep his temper but Sting’s time will come soon. Sting again asks Joe who’s in his ear and says that no matter how black Joe’s heart may appear he knows Joe isn?t capable of doing all this and wants to know who’s pulling Joe’s strings. Joe says he?ll say it one last time, he will find out at Victory Road, but Sting wants to find out tonight and he says tonight he?ll pull him out of the darkness and tear him apart piece by piece and feed him to the fans. Sting leaves immediately to the back while Joe looks at him smiling and mouthing (I think) ?I hope you do find him.? Damn, Joe has a pretty nasty cut on his eyebrow.

—COMMERCIAL BREAK—

In the back Lauren is with Jenna and asks her how she’s training for her match with Sharmell and she says money. Jenna says she bought a trainer of her own and then Raisha Saeed walks up. SILENCE! Raisha says Kong was paid to destroy and she will destroy!

Non-Title Match
Beer Money Inc. vs. Motor City Machine Guns

Booker T. and Scott Steiner come out and join the announce team for this match. The Machine Guns just dropped their IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Titles last weekend (I believe) to Prince Devitt and Ryusuke Taguchi at the July 5th NJPW show in Tokyo, Japan. Book & Steiner crack jokes on both teams as they come to the ring. Steiner says there’s two things he doesn?t like and that’s white trash and rednecks and Beer Money are both. West refers to Book as ?Black Snow? (remember when Book and Nash took over the announce desk a few months ago) but Book says Black Snow is off tonight and it’s just Booker. Sabin and Storm kick the match off with a lockup. Storm gets a wristlock on Sabin but he rolls through it only to get slammed to the mat by his hair. Storm keeps the wristlock on Sabin but he nips up, breaks the hold with a chop to the wrist, and then chops Storm’s chest. Sabin ducks a clothesline and then goes for a front kick but Storm catches his foot and spins him around right into a Back Suplex attempt, but Sabin lands on his feet and goes for an arm drag. Storm blocks it and screams ?YOU SUCK? at Sabin. Sabin’s pissed and slaps Storm in the face which causes Storm to throw a big right hand at Sabin knocking him through the ropes to the floor. Storm follows Sabin out and throws repeated right hands at Sabin and then goes for a clothesline, but Sabin ducks and when Storm turns around Shelley dives off the apron with a Flying Knee Attack sending Storm into the guardrail! Sabin rolls Storm back in the ring and tags Shelley in. MCMG nail Storm with leg kicks that gets him to his knees and then sandwich Storm with a double head kick. Shelley covers Storm and gets a nearfall and then puts Storm in a wristlock and tags Sabin back in. Shelley holds the wristlock as Sabin comes off the top with a Double Axe Handle to the back of Storm. The Guns hit a Double Clothesline (Shelley to the front and Sabin to the back) sandwiching Storm again. Sabin gets a nearfall and then throws Storm into the top turnbuckle and then chokes Storm with his boot. Shelley tags himself back in and hits a Double Axe Handle of his own. They go for the Double Clothesline again but Roode was able to fly in and pull Storm out of the way causing the Guns to clothesline each other. Storm then tosses Storm across the ring to the Beer Money corner and tags himself in as Booker says, ?this guy just gave his own partner a hip toss, he is as dumb as he looks.? Roode with right hands to both Guns and then whips Shelley into the ropes and hits a clothesline. Roode then attempts to whip Sabin into the ropes but Sabin reverses it and goes for a backdrop, but Roode leapfrogs him and then hits a dropkick. Shelley charges back in but eats a Spinebuster from Roode! 1?2?NO Sabin breaks it up! Storm back in now and Beer Money whip the Guns into each other, but the Guns catch each other by the arms and spin each other into clothesline attempts on Beer Money. Beer Money ducks and then crisscrosses across the ring with clotheslines attempts of their own on the Guns! Both the Guns duck and then hit Clotheslines on Beer Money in the corner! What a sequence! Shelley grabs Roode as Sabin springboards off the top with a Missile Dropkick to Roode’s back right into a Flatliner from Shelley! 1?2?NO Roode kicks out! The Guns whip Storm into the ropes and go for a double backdrop but Storm stops and kicks Shelley in the face. Sabin goes for a clothesline but Storm ducks and hits the Last Call! Shelley then goes for a German Suplex but Storm counters into the Lung Blower (Backcracker)! Roode then grabs Shelley up and lifts him up into the suplex position right onto the shoulders of Storm and they hit the D.W.I.! 1?2?3 and it’s over!

Winners: Beer Money via pinfall (D.W.I.)

After the match Steiner & Book take Beer Money’s belts and hold them up saying that at Victory Road they come to them as Beer Money talks trash from the ring.

We then see Angelina Love walking with the rest of the Beautiful People talking about how much she hates spiders. Velvet gets pissed and says everything is always about Angelina but the spider was on her last week! Velvet then says that she’s not Angelina’s puppet and what she did to her by leaving her last week with the spider on her was unacceptable and says if Angelina doesn?t have her back tonight then they?re done for good and then walks off. Angelina says she knew the spider crawled up her butt last week but didn?t know it died up there.

—COMMERCIAL BREAK—

They show another video package hyping up the debut of Sarita next week! The luchadora arrives next week!

Tara vs. Velvet Sky w/Angelina Love & Madison Rayne

The cameraman reaches for Velvet’s finer assets as she did her entrance but Velvet saw it and got pissed. Tara carries her spider to the ring with her this time in a spider aquarium. Three of the nicest backsides are out there right now (Tara, Velvet, & Angelina obviously). At the bell Velvet goes for a clothesline but Tara ducks and throws a wicked chop to the awesome chest of Velvet. Tara throws Velvet into the corner and hits several shoulder blocks and then whips Velvet into the opposite corner and charges, but Velvet gets her boot up and then hits a clothesline. Velvet mounts Tara and chokes her and then grabs her by the hair and slams her to the mat. Velvet grabs Tara by the hair again and throws her across the ring and gets another nearfall. Velvet hits a snapmare and then kicks Tara in the back and gets yet another nearfall. Velvet drapes Tara over the middle rope and then Angelina goes to hit Tara with the belt but the referee sees it and stops her. Velvet reaches down to grab Tara but she kicks Velvet in the head from her back! Tara then hits several right hands and then a clothesline. Tara hits another clothesline and then a scoop slam. Tara kicks Velvet in the gut and then hits the Widows Peak! 1?2?3 and it’s over!

Winner: Tara via pinfall (Widows Peak)

After the match Tara reaches for the tarantula goes to put it on Velvet again but Angelina grabs the microphone and screams for Tara not to do it as the fans chant ?do it? at her. Angelina says she can fight her right now if she won?t put the spider on Velvet. Tara agrees as long as the Title is on the line! Angelina thinks about it for a second but finally agrees!

—COMMERCIAL BREAK—

TNA Knockout Championship
Angelina Love (c) w/Madison Rayne vs. Tara

Angelina attempts to hit Tara with the belt at the bell but the referee grabs the belt from her and stops her allowing Tara to roll Angelina up! 1?2?NO Angelina kicks out! Tara hits a Back Slide and gets yet another nearfall. Tara then kicks Angelina and rolls Angelina up with an Inside Cradle! 1?2..NO Love kicks out again and then rolls out to the floor! Tara reaches down and tries to pull Angelina in by her hair but Madison reaches up and yanks Tara out of the ring by her feet hard. The referee then comes out and throws Madison out from ringside! At ringside Angelina chokes Tara as Tenay says that Velvet was helped to the back during the break. Angelina throws Tara into the apron and then the guardrail. Angelina hits a big chop as the fans get behind Tara and then rolls her into the ring. Angelina covers Tara and gets a nearfall. Angelina gets another nearfall and then argues with the referee. Angelina hits the Botox Injection! 1?2?NO Tara kicks out! Angelina covers Tara twice more and still Tara kicks out and Angelina gets more frustrated everytime. Tara tries to fight back but Angelina knocks her down again. Angelina whips Tara into the corner and goes for a Splash, but Tara moves and then hits big chops knocking Angelina down. Tara then hits the Spiders Web (Fireman’s Carry Swinging Side Slam)! 1?2?NO Angelina still kicks out! Tara picks Angelina up and hits the Widows Peak! 1?2?3 and she wins the belt!

Winner & NEW Knockouts Champ: Tara via pinfall (Widows Peak)

After the match Tara grabs the belt and gets emotional as she celebrates with her new belt!

—COMMERCIAL BREAK—

Back from commercials Lauren approaches the new Knockouts Champ and she says that there was a point in his career that she would never have happiness again but now she’s having a blast. She then thanks Angelina and ?Poison?, her spider. Tara says ?we did it? to the spider. That was kind of disturbing.

Tenay and West reveal a couple of new matches for Victory Road: Daniels vs. Matt Morgan and Samoa Joe vs. Sting! And Bam, my electricity goes out, great.

They show ?earlier this week? Abyss going to Dr. Stevie’s office for his appointment, but when Stevie walks into the room Abyss jumps him and starts beating the hell out of him. Abyss then falls over and starts twitching, Stevie says he spiked Abyss? water with neuromuscular problems and then breaks a glass over Abyss? head.

?Big Sexy? Kevin Nash & ?The Blueprint? Matt Morgan vs. The Phenomenal Angels (Daniels & AJ Styles)

AJ countered a Morgan Chokeslam with a Pele. Phenomenal Angels hit the BME/Frog Splash combo on Morgan for the pin. After the match Morgan jumped Daniels and injured his ankle.

Winners: Phenomenal Angels via pinfall (BME/Frog Splash)

In the parking lot Sting walked through the parking lot with a towel over his head (like Joe) and a car drove out. Sting reached in to pull the driver out but Joe ran up from behind and choked Sting out.

Main Event
Three Way Dance
Special Referee: ?Showtime? Eric Young
?Olympic Hero? Kurt Angle vs. ?Hardcore Legend? Mick Foley vs. ?King of the Mountain? Jeff Jarrett

Pretty interesting choice for the referee. Angle put Foley in the Ankle Lock but Foley kept yelling ?NO? at him but Young still called for the bell saying that Foley verbally tapped. Jarrett ran Young off and then Foley put Angle in the Mandible Claw until Joe came out to make the save. The rest of the Mafia ran out with barbed wire! They wrapped Foley in barbed wire and then hit him with a barbed wire baseball bat! The Mafia celebrate over Foley’s beaten body.
