WWE COO Paul “Triple H” Levesque tweeted out the following image.

WWE also posted an interview with Nakamura after the title win.

  • Cameron Huff

I’m going to assume Samoa Joe’s going to go debut on the main roster at the 2017 Royal Rumble.

  • Colby

Hope so! And more-so hope they use him well!

  • Paul Meade

I predict he’ll attack AJ tomorrow after the main event

  • John Johnson

    Fuckers! Try a spoiler warning!

  • Tre Zen

It’s not a spoiler if its already being tweeted about by Triple H, that means WWE want people to know about it now and that it’ll be spoken about on NXT as something that’s known to have happened.

  • Adam Martin

John, when WWE is heavily promoting the title change publicly, it’s not a spoiler any longer.

  • Rob Giles

Nakamura is overrated and annoying. Sucks that they took the title off Joe so quickly. Hopefully this means Joe moves to the main roster, long overdue. I’m not sure if attacking AJ is the best idea though. On the contrary, forming an alliance with AJ and the other ex-TNA guys (Roode, Aries, and Eric Young) would be pretty badass. These guys are all heels right now anyhow, it would be the perfect opportunity to do something like this. If done properly, this faction could be as big as the original NWO. Everyone is waiting for these guys to move up to the main roster… have them unite and dominate!

So they hot shotted the title back to Samoa Joe just so he could lose it back to Nakamura in Osaka? Whatever.
