Vince McMahon Files Denial Of Claims From Janel Grant, Her Attorney Responds

Ann Callis, who is the attorney for Janel Grant has responded to Vince McMahon and have provided a statement to Wrestlenomics and POST Wrestling.

“Vince McMahon has never known a storyline that he doesn’t twist to fit his own shameful narrative. Her father was in in-home hospice during his final days where Janel continued to care for him around the clock. Prior to his death, she had been caring for her blind, wheelchair-bound mother. Using the grief of someone who lost both of her parents is an all new level of disgusting.

“She was not dating at the time. Her ex-boyfriend allowed her to stay in the apartment as she rebuilt her life and resume post-taking care of her parents. She had no job and no other financial support to lean back on.”

On Tuesday, April 23, Vince McMahon and his lawyers filed a motion to compel arbitration as it pertains to Grant’s sexual trafficking and sexual abuse lawsuit at the end of January. In the filing, McMahon denied the claims of sex trafficking, emotional abuse, and sexual assault by Grant.

A party may compel arbitration as long as they have a valid and enforceable written agreement to submit a dispute to arbitration in January.

The full United States District Court filing can be read at the US Courts website.
