Saturday night’s alright for Collidin’!

Commentary welcomes us to the show, running down the lineup for tonight before we get a message from Death Riders after Dynamite on Wednesday. Jon Moxley addresses being unable to beat Kyle O’Reilly in their previous encounters, before stating he’s not the man he was six months ago. Logic and strategy should dictate that he should stay away from O’Reilly because there’s no doubt Kyle has his number.

This Continental Championship is a good bait to slay the dragons coming to his door. He’s going to continue surviving the way he knows how, by finding a way. Mox walks off before Claudio Castagnoli addresses facing Brody King in the Owen Hart Tournament: Brody brings the bark, but he’d better bring the bite when they face off.

PAC says there are no special favorites, and that it’s us against the world. Daniel Garcia agrees and we end with Marina Shafir telling their foes to bring it. With that, Collision rolls on.

Back at ringside, Kyle O’Reilly makes his entrance for our opening contest. I’m not sure why they’re not using the full Conglomeration theme other than to make sure each man gets a good pop for their music, with the loudest of these coming for Mark Briscoe. The trio enters the ring before Shane Taylor Promotions makes their way out next.

AEW World Trios Championship Eliminator Match: The Conglomeration vs. Shane Taylor Promotions

We start off with Bravo and Briscoe, who go at each other until Bravo takes control. Briscoe manages to turn it around long enough for a tag to O’Reilly. Moriarty tags in as well, and they exchange holds until Kyle gets Lee down for a nearfall. Lee turns things around as he hits the ropes for a sunset flip, but Kyle goes for an armbar on the counter.

Lee breaks free but O’Reilly quickly cinches in an ankle lock. Moriarty manages to break free, but is sent to the corner where Kyle lands some mounted punches before tagging in Briscoe.

Mark lands some shots of his own before tagging in Cassidy…who lands ONE good shot for good measure. Tag made to Shawn Dean, who eggs Cassidy on to put his hands in his pockets. Orange obliges and takes Dean down with a dropkick, keeping Shawn off his game. Bravo comes running in for an assist, but to no avail.

Dean and Bravo each get sent into the turnbuckle, before Moriarty pulls Cassidy off the apron. O’Reilly and Briscoe have it out with him over this, as the Infantry take out Cassidy and Shane Taylor lands a big leg drop with the ref distracted, keeping him down as we go to ad break.
