WWE Hall of Famer reveals he has been diagnosed with skin cancer ‘a second time’

Speaking exclusively with PEOPLE, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has revealed he has been diagnosed with skin cancer for “a second time in three years.”

The 76-year old Flair told PEOPLE that he will undergoing treatment next week.

“It’s the second time in three years that I’ve been dealing with skin cancer. I will be undergoing treatment next week.”

Flair initially denied reports of the diagnosis on social media. He noted he denied having skin cancer in order to keep it private, but further added he was not ready to share the news by telling PEOPLE: “Appreciate the concerns!”

Flair, who is still under contract with AEW, recently appeared on the AEW Collision Beach Break episode back on May 17, paying tribute to NFL Hall of Famer and former WCW star Steve “Mongo” McMichael who passed away on April 23, 2025 from ALS.
