According to PWInsider, despite Liv Morgan set to undergo surgery soon for her dislocated shoulder, the plan of Friday morning, is that WWE is not expected to vacate the Women’s Tag Team Championships.
The report also notes that Morgan has been pulled from the road and will not be making any appearances on WWE television in the near future.
We will provide an update as it becomes available.
Morgan dislocated her right shoulder at the start of her match against Kairi Sane on the June 16 episode of Raw. The injury occurred just after bell rang, when Sane quickly took down Morgan with a dragon screw. Morgan immediately rolled out of the ring, grabbing her shoulder. The ringside doctor checked on Morgan and the match was stopped with the win awarded to Sane.
