Solo Sikoa is the new WWE United States Champion.
Sikoa defeated Jacob Fatu by pinfall to win the title, and had some help in the process in order to capture the title.
Below is an excerpt from Mike Tedesco’s Night of Champions recap of how the title change went down.
Fatu gets in the ring and hits Sikoa with a Pop-up Samoan Drop. Fatu superkicks Mateo and hits him with a running hip attack. Fatu then hits Sikoa with a double jump moonsault! The referee is distracted. All of a sudden, Hikuleo pulls Fatu out of the ring! Hikuleo grabs Fatu by the throat and chokeslams him onto the commentary table! Hikuleo rolls Fatu into the ring. Sikoa looks pleased and turns Fatu inside out with a Samoan Spike! 1… 2… 3!
