WWE Hall of Famer says he has “surgery coming up”, asks for prayers

WWE Hall of Famer “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair took to X, noting that he has surgery coming up and for everyone to keep him in prayer. He also included that “It’s All Fragile”, but did not go into a specific details.

Flair posted two photos side-by-side. The first one is a close-up of his forehead, while the second is that of a surgical incision with what looks to be stiches on his abdomen. He did previously undergo abdominal surgery back in 2017.

On June 6, PEOPLE published an exclusive with Flair, in which he revealed he had been diagnosed with skin cancer. He then announced on X on June 16 he was not going to be able to make an appearance due to his issues with Melanoma.

Flair, who is still under contract with AEW, last appeared for the promotion on the taped May 17 episode of the Collision: Beach Break episode at the NOW Arena, just outside of Chicago. During the show, Flair was part of the tribute for Pro Football Hall of Famer and former WCW star Steve “Mongo” McMichael, who passed away back on April 23 after a six-year battle from ALS.
