Report on if Seth Rollins knee injury is a work

According to F4WOnline, multiple sources have stated the knee injury Seth Rollins appeared to suffer on the July 12 WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event was a work. It was also said talent and production were worked into thinking it was legitimate.

The report also notes that according to one source, Rollins actually did have a very minor knee injury going into the show, so the claim that he is actually injured somewhat true, but nothing that would keep him out of action without missing much time.

Furthermore, F4WOnline stated that the idea of the worked injury is to convince fans that Rollins will be out action for a long period of time and then make a surprise “early” return with a cash-in of his Money in the Bank contract.

Rollins appeared to injure his knee during his match against LA Knight on Saturday Night’s Main Event. Rollins went for a second rope springboard moonsault on Knight who rolled out of the way. As soon as Rollins landed, he immediately favored his right knee and had issues standing and fell to the mat. He then went to the corner of the ring and talked with both Paul Heyman and referee Jessica Karr, as medical staff checked on him. The match then ended with Knight winning after dropping Rollins with the BFT.

Triple H noted during the Evolution Post-Show that Rollins was backstage and that things were inconclusive, but it didn’t look good. Triple H added Rollins would be undergoing an MRI on Monday in Birmingham, Alabama.

Rollins, who was a guest host on The Rich Eisen Show Wednesday, said there was no update on a diagnosis regarding his knee due to the swelling and that he would miss a significant amount of time and would be undergoing an evaluation in Los Angeles soon.
