AEW announced during Sunday’s Forbidden Door pay-per-view at the O2 Arena in London, the event has broken the indoor attendance record for a wrestling show at the venue.
Following Zach Sabre retaining the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship over Nigel McGuinness, Tony Schiavone announced Forbidden Door’s attendance of 18,922.
WWE held the previous records for the 2023 Money in the Bank PLE, which drew 17,617.
