Report: Agreement in principle reached regarding WWE shareholder lawsuit

According to a new report on Sunday from Wrestlenomics, an agreement in principle has been reached regarding the WWE shareholders lawsuit.

Thurston notes that Court Administrator for the Delaware Court of Chancery Tamara Burton stated all “parties have advised the court that they will present the settlement for approval in due course.’”

Thurston had reported on Saturday that it was confirmed to him that the shareholder trial had been canceled.

It was originally reported this past Friday by Bloomberg that per attorney Greg Varallo of Bernstein Litowitz Berger & Grossmann LLP, who represents the WWE shareholders, the four-day trial which was scheduled to start on June 8 was no longer listed on the Delaware Chancery Court’s calendar.
