We cut to the entrance and Gene Okerlund is with Kevin Sullivan and Jimmy Hart. Sullivan asks Jimmy Hart if Hart is so smart, what is Luger doing running around with Sting. He says at World War 3, Luger could have changed the course of wrestling history. Had Luger kept the hold on Macho Man for 10 more seconds, they would not have had Macho Man as new champion, no Hulk Hogan controversy and they would have had either Luger or someone from the Dungeon of Doom as Champion.
Jimmy Hart asks him if he has ever lied to him in his life and Hart replies to himself saying he has not. Jimmy says he was the only manager Sullivan ever had. He says Luger and Sting are friends, they go back a long time, the same way they do. Jimmy says they will get the job done, they have a plan.
Roy’s thoughts: Johnny B. Badd was a lot of fun to watch in the ring. I like what they did here with DDP and the Diamond Doll too. A fun match to start the show.
For the Jimmy Hart and Kevin Sullivan promo, interesting to see Sullivan try and turn on Jimmy Hart. What they were doing here with Randy Savage, Hulk Hogan, Sting and Lex Luger was interesting.
