The music of Katsuyori Shibata hits as he makes his way to the ring. Next up, is Adam Page, as the AEW World Trios Champion makes his way to the ring.
Hangman Adam Page vs. Katsuyori Shibata
The bell rings as both men start off with a brawl. The action spills to the floor, as Page sends Shiba into the barricade. Page picks up Shibata and sends him into the ring. Shiba charges at Page, sending him to the floor and then runs him into the barricade. Shiba grabs a chair and sits Page on it. Shiba charges at Page, but he moves out of the way. Page recovers and sends Shibata into the timekeepers table. Both men brawl as the action spills into the crowd, as they drop a camera man. Page grabs Shibata and slams his head on the timekeepers table Page nails Shibata with elbows and sets him on the chair. Hangman connects with a big boot and then sends Shibata back in the ring. Page slams Shibata, but he gets up using the ropes to hold himself up. Page charges at Shibata and is met with a big boot. Shibata lures Page on the apron and is suplexed. Page drops to the floor, as Shibata pick him up hits a knee breaker. Shibata rolls Page back in the ring and works on the left knee. Shibata applies the figure four on Page. The ref checks on Page. Page makes his way to the ropes to break the hold…
-FULL AD BREAK (ON HBO MAX)-
Back from the break, Shibata is still in control, kicking Page in the mid-section. Both men are up and we get a chop battle in the center of the ring. Shibata goes for the eyes of Page. Page runs at Shibata, connecting with a big forearm. Shibata answers back with a high kick, but Page comes back with a German Suplex. Both men trade German Suplexes and then take each other out with elbow strikes. The ref starts the ten count. Both men are down on their knees exchanging elbow shots. Shibata distracts the ref, as he low-blows Page. Shibata sends Page to the apron. Shibata tries for a suplex, but Page blocks it. Page picks up Shibata and drops him with a deadeye on the apron. Shibata hits the floor and then staggers to his feet. Page goes to the top and connects on Shibata with a moonsault on the floor. We get a ‘This is Awesome Chant.’ Shibata has Page in a headlock in the center of the ring. Page is down in the corner. Shibata charges at Page, but he moves…Page connects on Shibata with a buckshot lariat and covers him for the three count.

We go to an ‘earlier this week’ with Alex Marvez talking to Don Callis, Mark Davis, Jake Doyle and Ricochet on the golf course.
-COMMERCIAL BREAK-
Back to the show, Justin Roberts introduces Isla Dawn as she comes out with the Grizzled Young Veterans, who look on from the ramp area and then walk to the back. Next up, Kris Statlander. The AEW Women’s World Champion makes her way to the ring for a flat ovation.
AEW Women’s Championship Eliminator Match: Kris Statlander vs. Isla Dawn
The bell rings as Dawn nails Kris and then misses with a drop kick and sends Dawn face first into the turnbuckle. Dawn fires back and sends Statlander to the floor. Dawn connects with a big kick on Statlander and rolls her back in the ring. Dawn covers Statlander for only a two count. Statlander fires back but Dawn fights back and drops Statlander with a suplex and covers her for only a two count. Dawn sends Statlander to the corner and sets her up on the turnbuckle. Statlander fights back and comes off with a big drop kick off the top and picks up Dawn and drivers down to the mat, covers her, but Dawn kicks out. Statlander then picks up Dawn and drops her with a Saturday Night Fever and covers her for the three count.
Winner by pinfall: Kris Statlander
After the match, Thekla is talking from the backstage area wearing a Kris Statlander shirt. Thekla takes the shirt off and spits on it. Thekla then throws it in the trash, tells Statlander to live long and prosper and then flips her off.
We then go backstage again with Jack Perry holding a knife, saying that Ricochet took out a friend in Luchasaurus. Perry says that his friend fought back from a bad illness. Perry says he will take Ricochet’s championship, but it won’t be enough and then sticks the knife in the table.
Ace Austin could not make it to Orlando due to travel issues, so Billy Gunn is stepping to tag with his son Austin.
The music of the Bang Bang hits, as Austin Gunn is out first to a darkened arena. Out next is Billy Gunn. The father and son duo make their way to the ring. Next up is the music of Konosuke Takeshita and he makes his way out…Kyle Fletcher’s music hits next as he comes out with Don Callis. They make their way to the ring.
ProtoShita (Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita) vs. Austin and Billy Gunn
The bell rings as we are underway. Fletcher and Austin start off. Both men lockup and Fletcher back up Austin to the corner. Fletcher picks up Austin and slams him down. Fletcher poses in the ring. Both men lock up again and Austin grabs the left arm of Fletcher, but he fights out of the hold. Fletcher chops Austin and then tosses him to the corner…both men run the ropes, as Austin takes down Fletcher who calls for a time out. Billy is tagged in. We get a test of strength, but Billy tells Fletcher to suck it. Fletcher is then hit with a shoulder tackle. Takeshita is tagged in. Billy and Takeshita stare each other down, before locking up, as Takeshita backs Billy into the corner. Takeshita slaps Billy, who then answers back. Both men exchange slaps. Billy goes down by Takeshita and then rolls out of the ring. Callis leaves the table to confront Billy, but Takeshita from behind, sends him into the barricade and then rolls him back in the ring.
-FULL AD BREAK (ON HBO Max)-
Back from the break, Billy goes for a famaser as both men are ring…Billy misses, then connects on Takeshita after a second try. Billy covers Takeshita, but he kicks out a two…Austin is tagged in…Takeshita knocks Billy out of the ring. Austin then drops Takeshita and she rolls out of the ring. Fletcher is the legal man. Austin is nailed by Takeshita, but still suplexes Fletcher, as both men are down. Takeshita pick up Austin, but he rolls up Takeshita for only a two count…Takeshita drops Austin with a blue thunder bomb. Takeshita covers Austin, but Billy makes the save. Takeshita charges at Austin, but he rolls out of the way…Billy and Fletcher fight on the outside. Takeshita then drops Austin with a ranging fire and covers him for the win.
Winners by pinfall: ProtoShita
After the match, the music of Okada hits as he comes out. Don Callis and Fletcher has to hold back Takeshita.
(It was also announced during the match that Juice Robinson was not medically cleared to compete. No reason was given).
We go backstage with Ricochet and Gates of Agony. Ricochet says he is so sorry about Jack Perry’s friend and that he talked to Tony Khan and they can have their rematch in his hometown of Las Vegas. Ricochet calls Perry a loser and says very soon he will out why Ricochet is out of this world.

Back from the break, we go to a vignette hyping up a future match between Grizzled Young Veterans and Eddie Kingston and Ortiz.
The music of Joran Oliver and Alec Price hit, as they make their way to the ring. Mark Davis and Jake Doyle are out next.
Don Callis Family’s Mark Davis and Jake Doyle vs. Jordan Oliver and Alec Price
Jake Doyle takes out both Jordan Oliver and Alec Price. Mark Davis is tagged in. Davis and Doyle throw Oliver and Price into each other. Price goes head first to the announce table. Doyle takes out Oliver with a huge clothesline. Davis is tagged in and sends Oliver into the turnbuckle. Davis chops Oliver and then covers him, but he kicks out a two. Oiver tries to fight back. Oliver tries for tag, but it tossed into the corner. Price is tagged in. He kicks Doyle and nails Davis in the face. Price connects with a neck breaker on Davis. Oliver kicks Doyle through the ropes. He recovers and tosses Oliver and Price onto each other. Davis and Doyle powerslam Oliver and Price and we get dual covers for the win.
Winners by pinfall: Mark Davis and Jake Doyle
After the match, Don Callis grabs a mic and says that he woke up one night of having a dream about championship gold and a vision of retiring FTR and owning the World Tag Team Titles. He says that his dream has come through with Davis and Doyle.
We then go backstage with Stoke and FTR and appearing on the screen. Stoke says Callis is a liar and FTR are upstanding citizens and great human beings. Justin Roberts will announce on Wednesday that FTR will still be the World Tag Team Champions.
We go to a vignette with Darby Allin in Florida driving to go see an old friend.
Back in the arena, the music of Julia Hart hits as she makes her way out and down to the ring. Next up, the music of Willow Nightingale. She makes her way out and down to the ring.
TBS Championship Match: TBS Champion Willow Nightingale defends against Julia Hart
The bell rings as we are underway. Hart pie faces Willow. Hart runs the ring, but is taken down by Willow. Hart tries for hip toss, but Willow blocks it. Willow sends Hart to the mat. Willow picks up Hart, but Hart tries to roll her up…Willow suplexes Hart and covers her for only a two count. Willow connects with forearms on Hart in the corner. Hart recovers and connects on Willow with a forearm shot. Hart takes down Willow, but she comes back with a shotgun drop kick off the second rope. Skye Blue distracts Willow. Harley Cameron comes out and Blue and Cameron fight up the ramp and to the back. Hart drops Willow with a beck breaker. She covers Willow for only a two count…
-FULL AD BREAK (ON HBO MAX)-
Back from the break, Hart has Willow in the corner. Hart hammer throws Willow to the other corner. Hart connects with a kick on Willow, who then comes back with a huge lariat on Hart. Both ladies are down, as the ref starts the ten count. Both women are up before ten. Willow chops Hart, sending her down. Willow then connects with a big elbow shot on Hart. Hart recovers and nails Willow under the chin, as Willow rolls to the floor. Hart sends Willow head first in the ring apron. Both ladies are on the floor…Willow picks up Hart and suplexes her on the floor! Willow rolls Hart back in the ring and connects with a cannonball on Hart. Willow drags Hart to the center of the ring and covers her, but Hart kicks out at two. Hart fight back and locks up Willow in the ropes. After the hold is broken, Willow picks up Hart, but she counters with a DDT and covers Willow for only a two count. Hart has Willow locked up, but Willow breaks the hold. Willow then charges at Hart, but is met with boot to the chest. Hart is up on the top and comes off the top with a moonsault, but Willow gets the boots up…Willow slaps Hart and then picks her up and powerbombs her to get the win.

We go backstage with The Rascalz eating snacks at a table. They try to decide which two are going to face The Cru. They decide on rock, paper, scissors instead. (This was a stupid segment).

Back from the break, we go to a vignette with Alex Windsor talking face to face with Jamie Hayter. They form a tag team and they are going after the Women’s World Tag Team Titles.
CMLL’s Magnus is out first. He makes his way to the ing. Next up is Andrade, who makes his way out and down to the ring.
Andrade El Idolo vs. CMLL’s Magnus
The bell rings, as Magnus kicks Andrade, but he fights back. Andrade is wrestling with his shirt on. Andrade tells the fans to shut up as he puts a knee to the neck of Magnus. Andrade sends Magnus to the corner. Andrade picks up Magnus and slams him down. We get a ‘take the shirt off’ chant from the fans. He grabs Magnus and then kicks him in the face. Andrade chops Magnus hard in the chest. Andrade kicks Magnus in the chest. Andrade is kicked by Magnus. Andrade rolls to the floor. Magnus attempts to fly through the ropes, but is nailed by Andrade. He takes finally takes his shirt off, teases he will throw it into the crowd, but doesn’t. He then takes a selfie with a fan at ringside and commentary asks if he put his phone number in her contacts.

Back from the break, the action is back in the ring. Andrade covers Magnus, but pulls him up after the one count. Andrade’s pants are also off, so he is in his tights and knee pads. Andrade attempts to take off the mask of Magnus. Andrade kicks Magus, who then rolls up Andrade for only a two count. Magnus runs the ropes and takes down Andrade, sending him to the floor. Magnus flies through the ropes, connecting on Andrade as he is driven into the announce desk. Magnus rolls Andrade back in the ring. Magnus connects on Andrade with a big drop kick off the top. Magnus covers Andrade for only a one count. Magnus charges at Andrade, but he is dropped with a toe hold. Andrade connects with a knee strike on Magnus and covers him, but pulls him up after a one count. Andrade then drops Magnus with the DM and covers Magnus for the three count.

Back from the break, we go to a vignette with Andrade saying he wants the AEW World Title. He then says Swerve Strickland is standing in his way.
The music of Roderick Strong hits as he makes his way out to the ring. Orange Cassidy will be in the corner of Strong. Moxley is on commentary for this match. Marina Shafir is standing next to Mox but the table. Next up, is the music of Claudio Castagnoli, as the CMLL champion makes his way out to the ring through the crowd with Wheeler Yuta behind him.
Tony Khan enters the ring to present the title belt on behalf of the CMLL President who is in Mexico. Khan shakes hands and leaves the ring. It was noted on commentary CMLL is the oldest pro wrestling organization in the world.
Justin Roberts (over doing it, like way over doing it – relax Justin, or you burst a blood vessel or something), makes the official introductions.
CMLL World Championship Match: Claudio Castagnoli defends against Roderick Strong
Before Justin can finish introducing Claudio, he attacks Strong and takes him down in the corner. The bell rings, as Strong fires back, but Claudio tosses Strong to the floor. Strong then fights back, but Claudio chops Strong. Claudio rolls Strong back in the ring. Claudio chops Strong hard in the corner. Claudio nails Strong and then takes him down. Claudio has a headlock on Strong down on the mat. Strong gets up, breaks the hold and drop kicks Claudio. Strong then connects with repeated right hands on Claudio, who rolls to the floor. Strong chops Claudio who fights back and picks up Strong and drops him on the edge of the guardrail. Claudio rolls Strong back in the ring. Claudio stomps on Strong in the back of his right leg. Claudio grabs the leg of Strong and twists it. Claudio slams his leg on the mat. Claudio connects with a big upper cut on Strong. Claudio punches and kicks Strong in the ribs. Strong fights back with forearm chops. Claudio kicks Strong and he goes down. Claudio picks up Strong and slams him on the ropes. Claudio goes back to working on the leg of Strong. Claudio chops Strong, but he fights back with chops to the chest. Strong picks up Claudio and connects with a back breaker. The action goes to the floor, as Claudio comes back and drops Strong knee first on the top of the barricade.
-FULL AD BREAK (ON HBO MAX)-
Back from the break, Claudio and Strong are back in the ring. Claudio stomps on the right leg of Strong. Claudio is dumped to the floor by Strong. Claudio is dropped on the barricade. Strong sends Claudio back in the ring. Strong drops Claudio with a kick. Strong chops Claudio. Strong picks up Claudio and drops him on the mat. Strong covers Claudio for only a two count. Strong grabs the left arm of Claudio, but his leg is clipped as Claudio grabs the hurt leg and applies a half crab on Strong. The hold is broken, as Claudio stomps on the mid-section of Strong. Claudio picks up Strong, but he rolls up Claudio for a two count. Claudio connects with an uppercut. Claudio covers Strong, but he gets his foot on the bottom rope. Claudio connects with uppercuts and kicks on Strong, followed by a running drop kick. Claudio sets Strong up on the top turnbuckle. Both men are on the top rope. Strong escapes from a hold by Claudio and pushes him. Both men are back up on the top rope. Strong drives down Claudio and covers him for only a two count!
Strong tries for the Strong Hold (Boston Crab) and has Claudio partially rolled over. Claudio hammers the hurt leg of Strong, but Strong comes back and has the full hold applied. Claudio tries to fight back. Claudio makes it to the bottom rope to break the hold. Strong leaps up and is caught by Claudio for a giant swing. Claudio applies a single leg crab on Strong. Strong rolls on his back, pushing Claudio, who rolls to the floor. Claudio grabs the hurt leg of Strong and slams in on the ring post, repeatedly. Strong sends Claudio off. The ref is distracted as Yuta gets involved, but Orange Cassidy fights him off. Strong nails Claudio with a big knee. Strong drops his knee pad, as the action is back in the ring. Strong goes for the knee strike, but Claudio counters it with a giant swing, followed by the neutralizer for the win to retain.
Winner and still CMLL World Heavyweight Champion: Claudio Castagnoli
After the match Claudio holds the tile and looks at the camera. Death Riders leave the ringside area through the crowd, as the show goes off the air.
