Following an interview in which he claimed he was banned from WrestleMania 41 for threatening to beat up Ludwig Kaiser, Ric Flair reached out to the former NXT Tag Team Champion on social media with an apology for his remarks:
During his interview with Ariel Helwani, the WWE Hall of Famer referred to Tiffany Stratton, whom Kaiser was seeing at the time, and her remarks toward Charlotte Flair’s divorces during a promo on the road to WrestleMania, adding:
And then [Kaiser] implied that, I’m just going based on social media, once again, which is a lot, that he was implying that he wouldn’t mind a one-off with Ashley. And I went, okay, I need your number. I got it, which I can get anybody’s number I want any minute of any day. And I called him. I said, ‘Hey, when I see you, I’m gonna beat the s–t out of you. So he went like a little b—h, told Hunter, and I wasn’t allowed to go.
Flair has not been on WWE programming since 2021, and has been reportedly remained under contract with AEW since his last appearance for the company in May 2025.
Kaiser was last seen in WWE in March 2025, prior the arrival of a second El Grande Americano in the company (and the recently-acquired AAA) that July.
