AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT ratings update, Dynamite places #2 for the night on cable

AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT Ratings Update

As of this morning, showbuzzdaily.com has posted the final cable ratings for December 2, 2020, confirming earlier reports from last week that AEW had their best ratings since last October. 

According to the report, AEW Dynamite came in at No. 2 for the night on cable, and did draw an average of 913,000 viewers, and confirmed the 0.42 rating for Dynamite in the key 18-49 demographic.  This is the best rating for Dynamite since the show’s October 2, 2019 debut episode that drew 1.409 million viewers.

WWE NXT placed No. 40 for the night on cable, and it was confirmed that the show drew an average of 658,000 viewers with a 0.16 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. 

We had reported last Thursday, that according to various media outlets, with no confirmed ratings from Showbuzz Daily, this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, going head-to-head against WWE NXT, had its best ratings so far in 2020.

Earlier on Thursday, AEW CEO and President Tony Khan revealed on Twitter AEW drew 543,000 viewers in the key 18-49 demographic, while WWE NXT drew 210,000 viewers in the same demographic.
