According to Fightful Select on Tuesday, Serena Deeb and AEW had what are said to be serious disagreements about how she was being used on AEW’s television shows. Deeb reportedly accused Tony Khan and AEW management of eliminating time from her matches and not being told time was cut until she got to the ring.
Fightful Select further notes that AEW claims Deeb was showed no time was cut from her matches given what was allotted for the show and or event she was booked on.
As of this writing, no one has apparently heard from Deeb. However, it is said that several of the AEW roster which heard this story has now resulted in some heat on Deeb.
Deeb has been off AEW programming for almost one full year.
